The hands of a god, instant reactions. And a superbly timed offload saw Steyn create a try. The man instantly gave us more bite than Allende....look at the numbers: Steyn 4 runs/24 metres/a clean break/an offload. Allende 8 runs/12 metres/ two defenders beaten while he was in donkey low as they used to say in the car industry/ one ball lost. Steyn 2 tackles made/ none missed. Allende 8 tackles made/2 missed. It's so delightful to see a creative player back at 12.

Looks like he's enjoying his footy, always thought he looked stressed under Meyer but that's pure speculation. Hopefully he keeps showing De Allende up, far more dynamic a player. Frans coming off the bench could be a weapon though.

It would be interesting to see Frans Steyn start next week, with Delande on the bench. 
When Frans Steyn is playing well, he stands out as a world-class player. Delande was solid today, but not in the same league. Having Pollard and Steyn would be 2 decision-makers. 
Although Pollard may be wrapped in cotton wool for the world cup, and Frans Steyn could start at 10, or Janties at flyhalf or Steyn at 12. 
A few other players could be rested like Duane Vermuelen, and Peter Steph Dutoit. 
Eztebeth is not as consistent as he used to be and could be wrapped in nails, and Snyman could start in his place.

Forget about it - Steyn was better than the past two tests = but barely makes a 5.

Frans did stuff all bar juggle a ball and effect a pass in the process. For the rest he did zero de Allende was the one who showed great hands off the ground a few times

You started the story with misleading information as per normal - De Allende 7 tackles missed 1 - Steyn 2 tackles - missed none.  

Your whole story is again total BS.  Steyn had one carry not in traffic and made good ground.  That was it,   De Allende made one carry with three players trying to tackle him and ended a meter from the tryline and a try followed after the resulting maul.

Throughout the game De Allende did a lot of work I ball protection and recovery and in ione case won a turnover,   Steyn did nothing of the sort,  

Steyn came from the bench in three tests now and in all three made one carry you sudde nly call "gold" - in all three was all round average with the second appearance being totally sub-standard.

Man, that was such a good try. Clean break between two defenders and offload by Steyn after collecting a poor Faf pass, nice carry and one handed pass by Steph. Can't we even enjoy these plays anymore without having to rubbish the contributions of individual players?

Indeed Pakie, I actually just enjoyed the rugby and didn't bother too much with who did what (all the matches) ...but this thread is pure deliberate bait...gold, but still bait.
