Jaco Kriel signed to beat the post RWC flood according to this article and interview video

...Kriel told RugbyPass he believes by moving to England now, he is ahead of the contract game and predicts a deluge of top South Africa talent will follow his lead thanks to the weakness of the country’s Rand against the Pound and the Euro.

The warning from Kriel, 29, comes as reports emerge that the South African Rugby Union (SARU) is on the verge of financial collapse after recording a net loss of R62 million last year while the Australian RU posted losses of $Aus3.8 million last year.

It is against this worrying financial picture that the leading players from those countries will make their decisions about future contracts after next year’s World Cup.

“The market will be flooded and you will be competing against New Zealand, Australian and also players from the Pacific Islands for contracts. I got the opportunity to come now and I took it.

Probably the reason people keep SA rugby going, buying their ticket out.

Globalist mindset.

...Often the case highly motivated SA players will excell in their new environment as they strive to prove themselves and become accepted amongst their peers.....and i would'nt be surprised if Kriel  became a pop up Bok as a result of his shift...Blommetjies is surrounded by a some good players at Scarlets also so i would'nt be surprised if he starts to shine as well..Two tries in his last game.

The presence of SA coaches in NH rugby also advantageous with the likes of Meyer and Ackerman ...White in Japan.... they will have pick of the bunch.

Rumour has it cashed up Meyer is ready to harvest a few Bulls players for his Stade Francais side..

Even a quota player managed to score many tries last season in pro 14.

The coaches brought little to the table, despite comfortable budgets.

One has this season a huge budget, his club no european committment. So seeing his worth will be straightforward.
