At this SA has a  point advantage over the AB's on the log with a 14 point difference in points in favour of SA.   o whata re the chances of SA severing the trophy?
Fact is the outstanding games are -
*    The AB;s can still win the trophy by beating Australia and win by a bonus point with neutralizing the present gap of 14 points.   My point is that the AB's will beat Australia and gain a bonus point.  Then the point difference becomes a \n issue.  *    The AB-Aussie game is before the Argentina - SA game so the management and players will be well aware of what is required from them to won the trophy
If the AB's beat the Aussies by a bonus point the point difference will become an issue.    If the Ab's beat the Aussies and the bonus point is not an issue -  All SA has to do is beat the Argentinians and the trophy will be theirs A bonus pint win by SA will ensure that get the trophy,
However, lets look at the outcomes of the two teams since 2012 in tests played in Argentina -not a pretty figure if ou are a Springbok supporter.  The results were as follows:-
2012   -    16 - 162013   -    17 - 222014   -    31 - 33
Not an overall convincing record under Meyer
2016   -    26 - 242017   -    23 - 41
One win and one convincing win under Coetzee was not an acceptable record.
In the games under Meyer Frans Steyn nearly succeeded to donate a win to the Pumas by kicking a relieving kick from the Springboks red zone rolling on the grass.  They managed a win when Steyn sored a charge down try late in the game.   In the other two games under Meyer the SA performances was so-so with narrow victories,  The win under Coetzee was indeed a surprise - taking into account how poor the Springboks were n other TC tests that year,
So what is expected from the Springboks?   They obviously will have to win the game and preferably earning a bons point - but will they?

The All Blacks will certainly beat Australia. My guess is that the All Black will get a bonus point and win by +15-20 points.
If so, this will mean the Boks have to win by +10 points. We will need a few players to return- because the backline attack against the All Blacks was woeful.
For Argentina, they have to win - otherwise, they will go into the World Cup of the back of 3 consecutive losses.
The All Blacks are more likely to beat Australia and get 5 points than the Boks are to win. This time last year the Boks would certainly have lost- and they did.
However the Bok team is better this year, so the Boks could win. Perhaps get rid of Delande and replace with Frans Steyn.

You don't think that maybe our 19-32 loss last year in Argentina under Rassie (the current coach with roughly the same personnel) is actually the most relevant result? Why did you omit it?

Argentina is a wildcard much like France. They can beat us on any day if they bring their A-game.

Boks to win match and win Rugby Championship.

Ou pakster living on scaps of the past. Hahahahaha.

Only query I have is will Rassie field his strongest 15?

Last chance to impress the coach.

Bok front row must mince the Argies.

Don't think poor Pakster has any idea about how good a coach Rassie is or how much the team has grown.

Beeno

Last year the teams sent by Erasmus to play Argetina was as follows:-

15  Willie le Roux, 14  Makazola Mapimpi, 13  Lukhanjo Am, 12  Andre Esterhuizen, 11 Aphiwe NDantyi, 10  Handre Pollard, 9  Faf de Klerk, 8  Warren Whitely, 7  Siya Kolisi, 6  Francis Louw, 5  Franco Mostert, 4  Even Etzebeth, 3  Framns Malherbe, 2 Malcolm Marx, 1  Tendai Mtawarira

16  Bongo Mbonanbi, 17  Steven Kitshoff, 18  Wilco Louw, 19  RG Snyman, 20  P-S du Toit, 21  Embroise Papier, 22  Lionel Mapie, 23 Damian Willemse

The team was seriously flawed at center and Etzebeth was total BS that game - he was yellow careded as well.  Mstert was even worse - the Argentinian locks were too physical for Mostert.   And the loosies was a nightmare.

By minute 45 the Argentinians were leading 32 - 7 and the subs only came on at minute 59.

The team meeting the Argentinians this time  around will  be much stronger and the chances are they would beat the Argentinians  this time around.

The Idiot Speakers have started praying for an SA loss otherwise they would have to run for cover.

PropagandaMike, your hysterics is more befitting a nervous and emotionally unstable woman.

Argentinians were too physical, hey? Yet we dominated them with 61% possession and 116 rucks won vs 61. We lost mainly because of shambolic defense. I brought the result up simply because I found it interesting that you would mention all results from 2012 except the most recent one. As if yu were up to your usual sweeping things under the carpet business.

Talking about running for cover, how about that time stamp for Esterhuizen 3m from the Kerevi break?

No the domination was imaginary and the Springboks lost badly,   The tackling was as yous aid bad - what was worse was allowing rhe Argentinians to ran around our players with no tackle attempts at all

Anyway you were right the SA Tight 5 was dominated in the first half because Etzebeth was carded and Mostert totally useless - that is when the tries were scored,  Thereafter the situation improved. in favour of the Springboks  when real players came on.

Erasmus experimented too much with duds like Esterhuizen  in the team - typical example.
