Yes, it's a subject of interest.

Mine is the...the beautiful

Alps in Switzerland

Franchshoek in WC South Africa

Patmos in Greek Islands

Budapest in Hungary

Red Square in Moscow

Ceres (and surrounds) in Western Cape

Montana and Alaska in USA.

Bavaria/Austria (all around) in the mountains

Galway Bay Ireland

Sani Pass in KZN and Lesoto

Knysna Heads and Belvedere before the greedy property moguls pissed it up.

The Eastern Highlands of Kenya.

In fact Thompson Falls in Kenya must take first honours

And yes many others...very difficult to put in order

Ugliest is Johannesburg...central
Moscow in outer regions...peculiar because central is the opposite.
The slums of London, Glasgow and Belfast.
Bellville, Goodwood, Woodstock in the Western Cape and Durban northern suburbs and beach front.

Pretty good list Sebastian. I would add Delphi, Yosemite, Misty Cliffs, Lake Garda, Mont Blanc, Kirstenbosch, Florence, Hong Kong harbour.......most disappointing the whole state of Florida and Australia away from the coast. Is there any uglier farm land than in Victoria around Strathmerton?

That's why I like you Moz...with all your faults...not really faults you just have different view points...,that's ok with level headed folks...I also respect your arch-old enemy but that's ok because nothing affects me....rugby I really enjoy but I have a wide life...many other things...I know I don't click or press the right buttons. I like Mike too and many others...funny we have some things in common...but then when it comes to rugby...I have my opinions and so do you and so the rest ...that's fine with me...I try to break the monotony of senseless feuds but it's misunderstood...I enjoy having correspondence in ideas and differences without throwing my toys out...there are jealousies here and it seems to come through at some times...but apart from that, generally most of us are fairly balanced and besides the main purpose of discussing rugger, there are other things when our rugby season has ended with a bad note... at least you are travelled (better education than varsity) and educated...I know you have a lot of faults but it really is not serious, it amazes why some here think they CAN change SA rugby by attacking each other..also a fruitless exercise...so lets have interesting discussions during these holidays.

PS Your list is good but it's a wide subject...depends on ones perceptions...emotions, preferances...the world still is beautiful but it's going down...glad to be getting old... feel sorry for the young people...but then again that's dumb...they don't really know what true and real beauty and value is today and you cannot blame them.

Kirstenbosch absolutely...Garden of Eden...beautiful memories for me...we used to hike from there when at junior/prep school in Wynberg...through "Skeliton Gorge"...oubaas's old route (Gen. Jannie Smuts....correction  Field Marshal...the highest).

I lived in a beautiful era...
