Mozart's list of players he hates is a long one - any player below the age of 25 is automatically placed oi that list and only in rare instances ever removed from the list.
Mozart's hate list
Taute, Engelbrecht, Serfontein, Mvovo, De Allende, Goosen, Hougaard, Reinach Labuschagne, Coetzee, Du Toit, Malherbe, Kitsshoff.
All the above are 25 years or younger and although some of them do have deficiencies he is bound to emphasize those and ignore good play by any of them. Normally isf he cannot get over it - he is prepared to lie without any hesitation about them.
Mozart's favourites
De Jongh, De Villiers Francois Steyn, Morne Steyn, Alberts, Botha, Matfield, Jannie du Plessis.
When most of the above perform poorly - like happened routinely in their cases - myths are circulated to prove how good they are and Mozart would go to great lengths to falsify their performances or try to find reasons to justify their under-performance.
The moral of the story is to see whether comments on performances relates to the above players and if it does - it is best to ignore his comments and make your own evaluation.
