They made a mistake and scored a try - then the penalty count started. First one - the Crusaders frontranker did not bind at all and supported himself by pressing on the ground. Forty meters out - penalty to the Crusaders to get on the scoresheet. Next penalty on the 25 meter line - really is one since a Rebel player played it on the ground.
Then - when the Crusaders are back in the Rebel half - penalty again for trying to take the ball - held on like a magnet by a Crusader player. A minute before the penalty was given - I shouted penalty coming up and voila - within kicking distance the penalty is given despite the fact that the Crusader player on the ground was hanging onto the ball.
Guess who is the referee? Two more penalty advantages and the Crusaders scored to take the lead in the game.
