The Prop situation of WP and the Sharks

While the RC  has a major impact of the prop situation of WP, it is not really the case with the Sharks as was proved yesterday in their CC clash.

WP was without Malherbe, Kitshoff and Louw - while the Sharks had Du Toit and Coenie Oosthuizen available.   Neither of the latter two had a real impact on the scrumming.   during the match.

So what did that tell us?  There can indeed be a question mark about the two players when even the second and third choice WP looseheads could not be comprehensive  beaten by the two Sharks players mentioned.

What do you think about this issue?   

That would certainly make sense. I couldn't argue otherwise considering I haven't seen it. It would be interesting to evaluate the scr um as a whole. How well the varying components work together. Even height can throw the front row off. There are many aspects to a scrum. It would be nice to hear what a scrum guru has to say. 

I agree, he has turned a corner. It's nice to see a player finally deliver on the early hype.
