I have been in, initiated and responded to countless Board dust ups over the years. And generally I am content that I have not done anything shameful. There have been misunderstandings....I was pulling Chipp-ou's chain earlier this year and he took it seriously. That was poorly done, but not maliciously intended. And there are many other things I would do a bit differently now....but nothing I feel badly about.

So what are the rules. They are simple. Keep family out of it and don't comment on other poster's families. Maintain confidentiality. Don't comment negatively on race and religion. Don't humiliate posters who are unable to handle the attacks. Don't lie about other posters....in fact try not to lie, it's usually discovered. Keep your language clean.

So do we end up with a granola site? Not at all. There is plenty of room for funny and enjoyable argie bargie. And plenty of room for feuds, which are the life blood of these Boards. No feuds ....no participation.

Perhaps some of you recall the Monty Python episode where the Crown Prince is serially  insulted by three of  his subjects.....while attributing the quote to one of the others. The trick was to find a flattering reason for the seemingly terminal insult.....clever stuff. That's it,  you can insult somebody on here, but to be entertaining it has to be clever.

Pax vobis.

My sentiments to a "T" ,the most disgusting thing seen on these boards are attacks on someones families .It shows a lack of a moral center and shows the poster as the lowest of low attacking kids is especialy degrading to all .
