I just watched the South African Olympic soccer team go down toothlessly to Japan who created nearly all the chances. What was the most obvious thing about this team? The complete absence of a white man in the South African ranks.

Is that surprising? Not really, it’s not their game. But why are there no quota whites when we have to put up with Nyakane on Saturday. Where is the rainbow?

I’m sure there is some perverted logic that justifies this unequal treatment. But it’s an illusion. Go one way or the other. I’d vote for the best players and damn the appearances. That still leaves Am , Kolbi and possibly Bongi in the Bok starting team.

Why is all this stuff so okay it no longer even draws a comment?

Old, drunken, ex-pat South African chicken-runner who got his ill-gotten gains out of the country during the apartheid years while the going was still good, sitting on his couch thousands of miles away demanding his right to an all-white Springbok rugby team.
Sigh . . .

Moz, you have to understand, our government has nothing except the race narrative left (if they ever had anything else). That's the fuel they run on. Behind that smokescreen they're just a bunch of corrupt, incompetent buffoons with nothing to bring to the table except more ways to suck the country dry. See the recent domestic terrorism and looting where all the government systems in place to protect citizens, property and key installations failed.

It's never been about equality or representation. It's about maintaining the thin veneer of race that they use to hide and excuse all their sins.

That's why they don't care if a team is all black, they only care if it's too white.

Blacks are a vehicle towards authoritarian rule. It's that simple. Now it's being used to reduce the West to total enfeeblement. The black tools don't realise they aren't going to get anything out of this.

What gets me is how many of these people expressing all this outrage about quotas in SA sport are ex-pats who no longer live in the country, don't pay taxes and who actively hope that the situation in the country gets worse so they can justify their leaving and congratulate each other on how clever they were for getting out with their apartheid-era loot.

I don't think I've ever seen one of these foot-stampers complain about affirmative action in the work-place or BEE or any other race-based legislation outside of sport . . . but drop a white guy for a black guy in one of the national sports teams and they start getting very tearful and indignant.

Nyakane is not a quota player at all. He was an absolute rock in the scrums pre Covid. He is off his game at the moment. Reality is Ox, Mbonambi and Nyakane are very good players but Kitshoff, Marx and Malherbe are better so merit is not at play here - but thankfully it’s a marginal call unlike say if Orie was at lock for the Boks Kolisi is definitely our best openside so pure merit selection there. Kolbe, Mapimpi and Nkosi are our best wings - merit there Am and Jessie Kriel are a close call - merit there Same applies with Faf and Jantjies at 9 At 8 I’d rather see Tshituka than Kwagga that would have been merit

Agree Saffex. All this blubbering about quotas might have had some relevance 10 or 20 years ago but calling guys like Nyakane, Nche and Mbonambi "quotas" is ignorance and an insult to these qulaity players.

Jantjies is not our second best 9. Kolisi is a complete passenger. Because of quotas we lost out on Duhan. We also lost out on Kockott all those years ago for a horribly out of shape Januarie. Quotas have cost us, but the white myth has been more damaging.

Peeper…..I left South Africa at 24 with not a penny in my pocket. I had a scholarship which paid my studies . And I lectured on the MBA programme and got the small South African legal allowance, which paid for the rest.

I then worked out of South Africa for 25 years. Bought a house for northern winters, employed  5 people, all paid for with non South African funds. I paid for one of the women to go to Mecca and provided generous severances for all when I sold up after numerous concerning incidents.

Sound like I sucked the country dry?  Apologize if you have any decency.

Pakie black people the world over are waiting for the leader that tells them they can compete. Obama could have been that man, but was more interested in spending time with movie stars. Today he is more or less irrelevant.

Tomorrow we go into a test with a front row that is considerably weaker than our best option.  Anybody who justifies that is not being honest.

There are a few extra factors to consider:

a). Malherbe had Covid, and he has had little to no game time prep for the Boks. (again due to Covid).
b). Kitshoff got a little bit of game time, but his form looked average.
c.) Marx off the bench could be just as good as him starting. Bongi has a better lineout throw.

Of the 3 that should have been certain starters, it was Malherbe.
However, given he has had no match preparation and just had Covid - sticking with Nykane seems like an option. I do think Nykane is better of the bench as he has more mobility than Malherbe.
Although Koch did scrum better than Nykane when he got onto the pitch.
Nyakane is probably a better loose head, but he has had solid games at tighthead.

We could see a switch in the 2nd test.
Rassie also likes to switch the whole front row at the same time, so having better players finish the 1st match is an option. (Particularly with limited preparation due to Covid).

Moffie, I don't think I'd apologize to a repulsive liar like you if you dropped to your knees and publicly begged forgiveness for your disgusting, infantile and spiteful behaviour for all the years I've been unfortunate enough to know you on these message boards.

Your cowardly deep dive after your stinking David Miller lie is just the most recent example . . . and it was only yesterday!

Rooi, I am one of the ex-pats you must be referring to who bled RSA dry and now resides overseas and lives off the money "Stolen" out of RSA.

Well any money that I have in our account or used was earned by me running a business out of RSA, Canada and a partner in Israel.

All taxes in RSA got paid up and cleared by the Tax Revenue department prior to moving and I still pay taxes on revenue I collect from rent, some investments and insurance policies and  we have those funds in an RSA account.

BEE and affirmative action have done more to hurt the black population than any action ever enforced on the blacks.

BEE was a system introduced to allow ANC comrades to get appointed to positions in companies with a 51% share holding without any compensation being paid to the existing share holders plus the "clowns" appointed had no experience in business what so ever.

The results are in Escom, SAA, Railways are just an few examples of the corruption and "Clowns" at the head of these government departments plus the who knows how many business have gone under because of the two action you quoted namely BEE and Affirmation  action.

Now to get back to sport.

Sure their are many players other than "Whites" that are Springbok or Protea quality players and who have been and are selected.

But the policy of the ANC government dictates that a certain number of players other than "white" must take to the field in sport but does limit the number of "black" players as per mozarts  example of the RSA soccer team at the Olympics.

30 years after the end of Apartheid which was passed by the white voters in a landslide and we now have an ANC government that enforces "QUOTA" systems in all areas of sport and employment.

No wonder the country is on the verge of collapse both economically and morally.

Their are decent folks on all shades in RSA who wish the best for RSA but they are in the minority unfortunately.

Two outstanding sportsman just in passing are the "Beast" and Amala who added strength and class to their individual sports and earned the respect of all SA sport supporters both in RSA and elsewhere.

But selecting just to meet government quota regulations in any form of sport is tearing RSA sport and its supporters apart.

Hoping that van Niekerk wins the GOLD for the 400 m at the Tokyo Olympics.

Fingers crossed.

Thank you.

One thing I respect about Mozart is that he managed to retire and enjoy life at 20 or more years before than 95% of Saffas can...a huge achievement and certainly if we are honest and have integrity to give credit when it's due, is a mamm oth achievement. If a a relatively young Saffer working in a profession or business today has R20,000,000 in assets at 46 he wont be able to retire comfortably.

His critics are green with envy...very green and jealous...well done Moz...

Chabal I never planned to retire from full time work at 54…corporate mergers made it possible. I continued on Boards till 67 and then having served on my last Board for over 20 years I figured it was time to depart.

Many of my colleagues would have gone on to the next gig. But  I had been involved in 5 turn around situations and I wasn’t excited about doing it again and frankly when you come in from the outside, it’s almost always a turnaround case.

But the 20 years were great I had a chance to revisit South Africa and it was still terrific prior to 2005 and I saw the McNaught comet, which apparently is even more immense than thought at the time.

We also had a chance to explore Europe. We drove from London to Florence once…lovely experience even though I ate some deadly mini squids on Lake Garda. I led a bunch of guys singing the Northern Lights in an Aberdeen restaurant and walked two blocks from my flat to watch the 2012 Olympic marathon. Fun stuff.

I did a bit more surfing, got the motor cycle bug out of my system and played lots of golf. I saw almost every opera….went to Sting, the Moody Blues and other live events.

Life expectancy for a man in England, the world’s most advanced society  in the late 19th century, was scarcely above 40 as late as 1870.

We are extremely lucky to have time for leisure, even the wealthiest men in prior centuries hardly had any.

The Jalepeno is the perfect avatar for ou Redstinkertwit. It is green representing jealousy. It then turns red representing rage.

Rooitit's reading comprehension skills fail him on a regular basis. Dr Moz was never talking about an all white rugby team. He mentioned 3 Black player who he thought made the team on MERIT.  so why the lies redstinker?

Redrooi is a raving Marxist loon. He aligns well with the very corrupt and highly immoral baby aborting tans supporting CCP Demonrats.

Ou rooitwit loves to virtue signal so he aligns with the Marxist racist BLM.  All lives do not matter to him; to say this would mean you are racist. The three funders of BLM, who now live in multi million mansions, declared on CNN that they were trained Marxists. From that moment ou rootwit was sold. Never mind that BLM looted burned and killed in black neigbourhoods.

Being a Marxist ou rooitwit hates very successful business men like Dr Moz.  His envy levels reach dangerous levels - dangerous to himself.

Many years ago I was making a stand for merit selection saying if you don't select on merit but select on race you are a racist. Ou rooiwtit called me a Nazi and went ballistic. Then some time latter ou rooitwit's son was turned down for a job due too BEE reasons. Ou rooitwit went ballistic. I pointed out his hypocrisy at the time and do so again. Rooitwit  asked I provide proof knowing full well the site involved is defunct. However some oaks remembered the incident and said so on this board.

Thanks Dr Moz for sharing something of your life.  I know the last time you did this ou rooitwit reacted by calling you a liar and boastful etc. I also recall how funny it was when who you were emerged and it was proven you were telling the truth. After months of rooiwits trying to smear Dr Moz this was without doubt one of the biggest crashes on a rugby board I have ever witnessed. To make matters even worse for rooitwit his big time old ally jumped ship and became a friend of Dr Moz. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha It was stunning!

Anyhow, here we are today with rooitwit stamping his foot and making absurd allegations about Moz. It never ends and probably wont as rooitwit has been obsessed with Dr Moz and your truly for well past two decades now.

All that said redrooi adds colour to the board and many laughs.

SAns still running their quota policy joke.

Their hatred on freedom is unmatched.

Even though they provide no number, they still expect people to believe in the quota policy tale whereas SA selections involves fewer and fewer supposedly quota teams.

It is no surprise that SA wealth has been shipped abroad at a discount with such mathematics wizards.
