The way the Boks should be tackling the RC if we did not have a useless conservative coach stuck in a time warp:

At fullback we have one of the world’s best in Willie le Roux. As a back-up, we have Taute who showed some good form in the later rounds of the S15. The likes of SP Marais and Visser would not let the side down. Meyer thinks Kirchner is the answer – what a joke. So it should be Willie, with Taute as back-up

On the wings, JP and Habana are the incumbents, JP has plenty left in him and Habana still looks like he has one last world cup in him. As back-ups, Sithole and Rhule are the best of the bunch. However, I’d be looking to bring 7’s star Senatla into the fold, he is twice the threat Hendricks ever was at 7’s. Will be interesting to see how he goes in the CC this year for the Cheetahs.

At outside centre, JP looks ok but we don’t need him there. I have always maintained JP could have made a go of 13, but there is little point now. JJ Engelbrecht has coped a very poor hand from ignorant Meyer. JJ’s display with ball in hand against the All Blacks last year was the best we have seen from a Bok 13 in years……instead of building on that he discarded the player – what pathetic player management and awareness displayed by Meyer. de Allende is the other very real option at 13. At least Meyer did infer he would play him there before he picked up the injury. de Allende does not strike me as a 12, he looks better suited to finishing with his sheer strength and good feet. Sadly, clueless Meyer’s first choice is has been Jaque Fourie who will be our 13 as soon as he returns from injury. The same Fourie who gained all of 13m in 3 tests on the EOYT. It should be JJ, with de Allende pushing hard.

At inside centre, the obvious choice is impressive Jan Serfontein who gets better and better with each test. But instead of letting him cement himself in the position, Meyer will bring back old man Jean who will provide us with the solid and absolutely nothing to build on. Hey ho. We should also make sure the issue with Frans Steyn is sorted and that he is back and available for the RC. Frans is a class act and we need his physical presence. Jean it will be though, to partner Fourie – heaven help us. It should be Serfontein with Frans as back-up.

At flyhalf we will see our ponderous plodder Morne firmly entrenched under clueless Meyer. Pollard as Goosen has done in the past, showed exactly what is required as a test pivot. We have three quality 10’s in Pollard, Goosen and Lambie, so why we have to endure more of the useless Morne, is beyond me – it sums Meyer up perfectly. It should be Goosen, with Lambie and Pollard as back-ups

At 9 we have du Preez providing a crisp service and a boot, with nothing more. Its solid so if it provides security then its fair enough to retain him in the mix. Hougaard however is a far better option who has rediscovered his form this S15. Faf de Klerk has been the find of the season and should be in the equation to provide some clout. Same can be said of Reinach. Instead we will see useless Pienaar retained as the back-up – another Meyer cock up. It should be Hougaard, with de Klerk and Reinach as back-ups.

At prop Beast still reigns supreme, while Jannie is hanging in there. I’d move on from Jannie given we have impressive youngsters like Coenie, Marcel v/d Merwe and Malherbe. At loosehead, clueless Meyer continues to ignore the impressive Kitshoff for the likes of useless Steenkamp – what a bloody insult. We have many better looseheads than Steenkamp such as Nkanyane, Mellett and Kitshoff. The tighthead should be Coenie with v/d Merwe as back up. At loosehead it should be Beast with Kitshoff and Nkanyane as back-ups.

At hooker, no-one could get Bismark and Strauss wrong. Brits was brought in far too late in his career, had we woken up to him 8 years ago as a super sub, hell knows what he could have achieved.

Our biggest joke occurs at lock where Meyer has insulted us with the return of old farts Bakkies and Matfield – whats the bloody point? The obvious choices here are Etzebeth, Lood and Steph du Toit, with the likes of Willemse, Lewies and du Plessis providing the depth. Clueless Meyer will see valued investment in Bakkies and Matfield instead – this move is just downright insulting.

Of the loosies Meyer finds favour in, only Vermeulen is worthy. Louw is handy enough but the likes of Brusouw, Coetzee and Kolisi provide more. At blindside, Alberts has lost impact – the likes of du Plessis, Elstadt or PSDT would provide more clout. Youngsters like v/d Walt, CJ Stander, Carr and Labascagne should also form part of the mix. The loosies should be Brussouw, Kolisi, Coetzee, Vermeulen, Labs, CJ and v/d Walt, with locks like PSDT and du Plessis as options at 7. Arno Botha has been sorely missed.

Its so bloody simple to get it right - how the hell can you cock it up as Meyer is about to do - what an idiot

There are some problems in your above summary.   Fourie is not likely to be ready to play in the RV and Du reez is also out.   Kitshoff will not play rugby this year again - neither will Du Toit.  Jacwuq du Plessis is also not available.
With that in mind I think the 30 man squad for the RC would lok as follows:-
Backline
Full back =  Le Roux - back up Lambie
Wings      =  Pietersen, Habana, Hendricks - back up Mvovo
Centers    =  De Villiers, De Allende, Serfontein
Flyhalfs    =  Pollard, Goosen
Scrummies  =  Pienaar, Reinach
Forwards
Props       =   Beast, Du Plessis, Malherbe, Coenie and Schalk van der merwe
Hookers    =   Du Plessis and Strauss
 Locks      =   Etzebeth. De Jager, Matfield  (bad choise), Willemse
Loosies     =   Vermeulen,  Louw, Burger, Coetzee
   Meyer will be forced to include more players of colour and that could affect the above.

Full back =  Willie and Lambie.
SP marais is to slow for an international fullback. He was average at best for the Sharks with Mvovo getting more time at the back then SP. Visser is very average and no point blooding him, because their will be a new fullback shortly that is much better. (Taute form has improved, but it was so poor at one stage he was not of SuperXV standard. His kicking game is poor)
Best to have Lambie on the bench to cover 10 and 15.

Wings      =  Pietersen, Habana, Hendricks - back up Mvovo (Rhule has been very average for the Cheetas

Centers    =  De Villiers, De Allende, Serfontein  (JJ has been a joke in 2014. He is not a centre, he needs space where he can use his speed on the outside. He is not strong enough to be a centre, does not have running lines and not creative enough to create space on his outside, he is a finisher only- a wing.
Flyhalfs    =  Pollard, Goosen (Lambie on the bench to cover 15 and 10)
Scrummies  =  Pienaar, Reinach (Hougaard is better as an impact player. Their are lots of scrummies that can pass and kick better.
Forwards
Props       =   Beast, Malherbe, Jannie Du Plessis, , Coenie and Schalk van der merwe (Jannie is useless apart from scrums, but Coenie does not seem to have a neck that can scrum anymore
Hookers    =   Du Plessis and Strauss
Locks      =   Etzebeth.and Matfield , De Jager on the bench.  Flip is too stupid and Bakkies is just an older Flip.
Loosies     =   Vermeulen,  Louw, Burger, Coetzee  (Kolisi does not have the work rate to be loosie, he needs to develop an allround game where he makes more impact than a few breaks)
