The really poor match the Boks played last year.....

 What are you on about, Goosen played well. It was when he went off injured that we began to fall apart. And if he had played badly in your eyes he was injured with a bruised heel. Two players that didn't play well, the former hurts me to say this, Etzebeth and Alberts as well as the other two you mentioned.

 Goosen got injured near the start of the game.

He actually went into the game with another injury to his heel and perhaps should not have played against Australia the week before, although his performance in that game was exceptional.

He could not kick for poles very well because of his ankle injury, but has allready proved to be an exceptional pole kicker. 

The injury that he got this year was when practising kicking for poles and seems that the injury from last year did not recover properly, and he made it worse.

In the NewZealand game he  was actually getting treatment when he ran across to try stop a lock forward- Sam Whitelock.

Standing with 2 injuries and stationary on the line, it is unlikely that an 85 kg 20 year old flyhalf is going to stop a lock from running at full speed from crossing. It was a brave tackle none then the less and had Goosen not been standing on the line, Whitelock would not have scored.

The try was mostly the result from the stupidity of Crash Ball Taute who did not kick the ball out and gae newzealand the perfect counter attacking oppertunity.

Jantjies came onto the pitch and was completely out of his depth. 

 Goosen set up the first try and attacked the Kiwi line frequently, he didn't break the line but he created a lot of momentum for our backs to feed off. Bruised heel would affect his kicking in that way, surprised he manage to make any goal kicks!

Taute did not have a good game and Jantjies did what he does best, mess up.

Sharkbok, think it was the Bruised heel that he went into the match with and went off because of it, didn't know he picked up another injury. It wasn't the injury in that game reappearing that made Goosen miss this years Super XV, it was a freak accident that messed up one of his thigh/calf ligaments or Muscle.

i thought goosen was useless in swoetto period. the reasons why which as usual are plentiful are irrelevant, cos kak spelt backwards is still kak, LMAO, :oD

goosen still has a ton of potential and one can only hope his seemingly fragile body lives up tot hat potential, cos right now that seems to be the only thing holding him back, i just hope he dosent resort to old habbits to get physically better, o_O

taute had a few cock ups here and there, but i really rate him and thought he had a decent 2012 season on every level.
like goosen he has a ton of potential and IMO will be the incumbent fullback much sooner then later, he reminds me lots of mils muliaina.

janties is a work in progress, but i havent lost faith in him, even though the rest of the world has. his confidecne is at an all time low and hopefully he can get some of it back in the CC and come back in 2014 with a clean slate.

bit harsh on alberts, he was awsome against the english in SA, even had many if not all here picking him as the clear No7 incumbent heading into the RC/4nats.

i didnt mind kruger either, but there are a lot of better locks out there, especially at the moment.

Taute has not done himself any favours by moving to the Stormers.

How many more times does it need to be stated that Goosen went into the NZ match injured and should never have played that game. One could hardly blame Meyer for turning a blind eye to his injury given his performance against Oz the week before.

It was apparent early on in the NZ match that he was limping, so no he was not jittery and all that, he was injured.

Taute was fairly beaten by a Dagg step and that was his only sin in that test. He had good tests against Oz and Ireland and that is a fact. He was our best test 13 last year, certainly betterthan Jean and de Jongh. Meyers retention of de Jongh in the test against England was one of many of his kock-ups for the year.

Taute, like JJ will prove all his detratctors wrong, the lad is a class act and will be a Bok for many years to come.
