Mozart

After continuous lectures by you   about how poor a team  England is a poor team and how the Springboks  do not deserve winning the WC  they are a poorly coached team - jow do you account for the loss of France  in the match?

Itoje had a solid game - is great at being a nuisance Would make a perfect blindside He certainly was not the reason they won though Good team effort with Watson rightly winning MOM French were great as well, could have just as easily gone their way Good game as was Ireland v Scotland today

I thought Curry was a better candidate for Man of the Match.

Disagree ...Youngs was good, so was Curry....but the dominance in the last quarter came from Itoje who totally dominated Du Pont.

As for the English win at Twickenham that you think is so significant Tokkie.....France haven’t won at T for the last 14 years. This was business as usual. And face it France should have won that game,

No Mozart

You try to avoid the point totally,     You claimed continuously that SA  did not deserve the winning of the WC 0 that Erasmus is a failure as a coach  and that the English were not goiod enough a ream and that the France is a better team than England,

Si must I assume that you over the last 15 months were writing crap on site?

Off to Ireland now where they have a 3-7 win ratio in Six Nations ,lets see their World Champion status according to Jones.
No more whinging and better focus on passes....did them good.

Tokkie try to be factual. I said our WC win was admirable.....but no more admirable than our 2007WC win derided by many on this site......that Wales was ordinary and the Poms never showed on the day.

And subsequently the Poms haven’t confirmed their win against NZ, if anything they have  looked more like the dazed team that played us, against opposition like France and Scotland.

So don’t assume anything.

Looking at the quality of the English team in 2007 team,  which -

*    had too many elderly and over-the-hill  players;

*    was ranked  5  in the world in 2007 and was not up to really to class status in the games leading up to the  WC  in 2007;

*      was beaten  by a huge margin in the round robin game by the  Springboks: but particularly

*       the quality of the rugby played in the  final by both teams in the final,

there van be no doubt  that  in the 2019 the Springboks put in a much better quality  performance against a much stronger English team - that in the semi beat the AB's convincingly in the semi - than they did  in the 2007 final.

Looking and  objectively analyzing the performances of players in the relevant two finals - it is clear that not a single 2007 player performed better than  their counterparts did in 2019.
