I have little time to deal with my viewpoints on this game (I wanrt to watch some cricket) - but want to deal with some comments in general first and will than go into more detail later.

First of all - there were some disquieting signs in the Rebels - Forces game and I never thought that they would up their game to suchy an extent that they would beat the Brumbies - but must admit that the scoreline was wider than expected.

Forwards

The Brumbies forwards comprehensively outplayed the Rebels and I am not at all surprised that it in fact happened.   I am beginning to believe that White's forward coaching is bearing fruit.  Some lapses in ball handling and possession retention were in evidence and le to tries by the Bumbies in particular.

Backline

As expected both O'Coonor and Mogg were the ebst two backline players and I was sorry to see O'Connor being replaced because of injury.   Beale was really not up to standard and one wonders what the Rebels will do about him in future.   Higginsbottom did better than in the previous game.

Defence

On average very solid.

The cricket is on and I want to go and watch some of it - so will wrote something later on about that one.
