He was indeed slow and powerful - but clumsy and a poor defender as well. Was allergic to entering of breakdowns and never protected balls and never made a turnover of opponent's balls at breakdowns, In other words a slow and deficient loosie. Maybe slightly better at lock - but his line-out contribution will be ineffective.
Must be some kind of record for Willem @ 38 to still play Rugby.....I can remember once he is on the go, he is difficult to stop.
