Which current or ex rugby player has the worst ears?
My starting point:

Maybe not quite on par with Rowntree, but Wahl Bartman?

Rowntree by a country mile ... he was scrummed so hard that his ears have been pushed toward his jawline ... that's an ugly fcuker ...

Lol, my son has just started getting cauliflower ears on one of his ears. First kid in his team but not the last to get them.

The missus is not as impressed as the coaches are. The forwards coaches made out like He'd earned a badge of honour.

Rowntrees are pretty horrific though.

@xavi - He must be the first scrumhalf in history to get cauliflower ears.

Good on him!

@ABasquefan - intresting that you use duckduckgo as your search engine of choice. How do you find it? Are the results as good as Google?

yeah, I use duckduckgo instead of Google, Firefox instead of Google Chrome (or IE), OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps,.... and as soon as I can I will quit my gmail(s),... live is possible without Google

I've been using duckduckgo for a while now,.... it's different,.... each engine give you different results,.... which one is better? it's difficult to answer,... at the beginning I use to search some issues in both engines,... and possibly that's the best,.... since you can find interesting searches in both,.... but since I use only duckduckgo (and it's been some years now) I didn't miss Google,.... for the usual things that the medium user, like me, searches I think duckduckgo can resolve

@ Flash,

He plays hooker and occasionally blind side depending on numbers that day.

One of only 3 front rowers in Wasps DPP.

@xavi. I was involved with wrestling for years and I had a chat with our provincial doctor once. He used to treat those ears a lot. The only workable course of action is to have the fluid drained ASAP by either using a syringe or by making a small incision.

@ Cera,

Yeah that's what a physio told us as well.

He wears a scrum cap but people I've  spoken to said it would be better to just tape them.

Doesn't a scrum cap help ... and why only the one ear ... I take it he does have anther on the another side?

Smallest head on a rugby player goes to Gelant....imagine Rowntree's ears on Gelant's head. Maybe one of you photo shopping chaps can give us that.

@moz

I've also analised Gelants head. I reckon its more a case of his neck being too chunky, making it look like his head is small.

Regarding Xavi's son... if he plays looshead, only 1 ear gets crumpled.

@ Cleancut

Dunno about the scrum cap thing, it hasn't as yet.

As for only one ear, it's only just starting to cauliflower and I'm sure, given time, the other ear will catch up.

Have to disagree....to me he looks like a South American shrunken head, but remarkably still in situ!

I tried to find worse than Rowntree, in any sport. Nothing. Then the worst ears in general. Nothing.

As an aside, Gelant sure has a long neck.

“Posted by: sharkbok (8545 posts) Mar 09, 2019, 14:30 Ceradunce, still waiting for your reply on the Vida cup... Can you update that thanks” What do you want me to reply? A Mike type of essay about the fact that the cup was actually called the Vidacom cup or an admittance that it was a typo? You are just looking for a response so that you can have another wank over it. Either that or your comprehension skills are really so poor that you did not notice the typo?
