Guys you know every day we make excuses to accommodate the ANC.
In sport there is no place for politics, unfortunately with their majority they can change everything.
Just look at what RSA has become......
Agree with your comments.

If I was a rugby administrator I would just say F*off ANC and carry on with my team as normal. If they try to throw their wait around I would just point them to the constitution and get them to challenge me in court.
I would even go one-step further and set a programme in motion to get black players into an academy and setup grass roots rugby, similar to the bakers mini cricket we as laatjies use to play. Tag rugby worked wonders for irish rugby.
I would then track each players development and break down to athletic ability and mental ability to take instruction and how they cope under pressure.
After all, we want the best players to play.
My argument is, here is my investment in Rugby, where is yours.
You can not expect people to just put black faces in a team. The government need to invest in sport if they want more representation. Only then can they start asking where is the representation.
If they had this in place then at last they can hold the rugby union accountable, but instead it is spend on Nkandla

The most obvious point missed by these sad excuses for politicians is the fact that the percentage of blacks who play rugby does not mirror the demographics of the country and therefore to expect rugby sides to mirror the demographics is laughable.
Added to this is the fact that coloured players are generally physically smaller than average. This is not much of an issue at school level but does become an issue in senior rugby.

Well 60/40 = 15 players in the 23 squad & in Superugby you need at the least a back-up team, that's another 15 players ................ multiply by six teams = 180 black players for our future teams .

Again I say the international community needs to know the facts and take action. Ban the Sa under 20 side from international competition. Kriel should work on that.
Something decisive needs to be done.

Jaaaaaa ou Safesex. Not too long ago you were all teary-eyed when the "racist" HM dropped the fat, illl-disciplined lazy arse Nyakane. You made a hell of a noise about how wrong it is to drop a black player.
Now suddenly you have a problem with the quota system and including players based on the colour of their skins.

Saffex
I believe Duhan van der Merwe is injured and did not take part in any preparation thus far. At least that was what was said at the time when the reduced squad was named.
Rohan Janse v/Rensburg spoiled his copy book - his performances on Under 19 level ford noy jidtogy his selection.
I am more worried about the omission of EW Viljoen and Daniel du Plessis though. That backline looks a bit iffy without them.
24 Apr 2014, 13:30#15
Fuck but you are a stupid doos. In the case of lazy fat Nyakane, the politicians have to be kept appeased but in the case of the Baby Boks, they should not be kept appeased. Double standards, Poepol, double standards.

What has Nyakane got to do with the Baby Boks? Stick to the topic - you fool. There is a norm which was applied in the past and that was to have 9 players of colour in the squad, It seems this was applied again in this case. However. to get to the nine players they had to weaken the side considerably by leaving out top players that should have been in the squad.
The problem will arise when a starting team is selected - that is where the quota is going to bite them. It happened last tear also - where the forwards were under-strength because of that one.
24 Apr 2014, 13:50#17
Ahhh die domste drol has also arrived. You have, as usual, missed the entire issue once again. It has nothing to do with a specific player. It is about ou Safesex not knowing what he wants. First he wants to "keep the politicians appeased" by keeping that fat arse in the Bok team, the next moment he is pissed off when the selectors "keeps the politicians appeased" with the selection of the Baby Boks. You two are equally fokken dof. Now piss off.

There is a topic/thread about general political issues in sport - here we are dealing with the Under 20 squad. You are too idiotic to take part in discussions of this nature. Go back and watch some rugby for a change and try and understand what the game is about 0 before you come back on this site.

24 Apr 2014, 15:54#20
@Ou Maaikie. Word wakker jou onnosel toskop. Read the opening post. It started off as a topic that is all about politics. This is what that stupid clown Safesex said in the opening post:
"I was so looking forward to the junior WC only to have the pathetic
politically motivated selection of the squad leave me angry and
reconciled to the fact that we do not have a hope in hell of challenging
for the title this year."
...and...
"If only those racist, ignorant politicians would leave their pathetic dirty hands out of rugby."
Now, fuck off and go talk shit with some other idiots who cares about what you have to say.
@Safesex. Just because you think that a lazy, fat, ill-disciplined player like Nyakane is test standard, it actually means he is one? Your pipe dreams of players who are supposed to be test standard are well-known. You are a fucking joke, man.
