The Sharks are pissing me off!

On another thread, Pakie mentioned in passing that it's difficult to judge anyone in this Sharks side because they're so terrible as a team.

It's true and it's damn annoying. Esterhuizen...that's the only guy currently playing to the level of a Bok.

But you look at how many other Boks are in the side and then you have to temper any opinion or analysis with "Is it even possible to perform in that team?". Itbwas mentioned on the match thread this weekend...it's like Ox is a worse scrummager at franchise level. How is that even possible?

Fassi is really bugging me more than anyone else. He's gone from ridiculously good to the point where I don't think he should even be in the Bok squad. But then I can't make a judgement because what if he was at another team that didn't play like a bunch of individuals?

We watch all the the SA sides and one feels comfortable with your assessments, even if they're bias, but for the Shark's Boks there's just an asterisk every week.

Is anyone else as annoyed by this as I am?

It is not the sharks but the Darks, they are obsessed in getting as many as possible black players in the team. The spine and Afrikaner / Anglo has been ripped out as part of their race replacement mission. However, they don't have a team full of Zulu's or Xhosa but people like the Tsisuka from the DRC, Matawera from Zimbabwe to name a few and traditional these tribes don't always see eye to eye. I think OX Tswana or Sotho.

There are some world class black players in Ox and Fassi but the rest are nothing to crow about and Kolisi and Bongi hasn't added anything to the sharks culture. They are both Stormers boys and will always be stormers. Not to mention they brought in Ebenezer who hardly done anything for the sharks, instead, they let the best player like the Du Preeze twins go, Vermeulen who plays for Exeter all for inferior players like Pepsi etc.

Rassie has done a fantastic job to bring players into the bok fold and build a game plan around them and we are getting better each year but it is not true at the sharks.

If you watch how they play, the don't tackle, the make silly passes and it is like watching Orlando Pirates play, every player wants to be on the ball and do cute stuff with it. You don't see them grind out and get their heads down. Bongi is the exception when on form that can get stuck in, but no Kolisi, he likes the fancy rugby.

Sharks have given up their culture for race replacement and pandering after a non existent black fan base,

Those players and fans will come but I feel the sharks have been forcing it.

Hence you see Rock Nation involved who are purely a black athlete promoter.

Esterhuizen was shot in the amtch on Saturday - he is slow in both thinking and reaction. Hre looked like shit compared to Vorster on Saturday.

The shorks backline is misfiring and he is part of the reason why that happened.
