The Springboks disgrace

I was shocked by the poor Springbok performance.   Mozart always preach to us about the defense issue - but yesterday that was a disgrace - looking at the missed tackle ratios of the different backline players:-
Lambie            =   16,6%Hougaard       =    44,4% Habana            =   42,9%De Jongh         =    20%De Allende        =    12,5%Steyn               =    41,1%De Klerk          =    44,4%Mapoe             =   100%
Only 2 players (Lambie and De Allende) had reasonable defensive stats.   De Jongh was poor and the rest a disgrace.
Etzebeth, Du Toit and De Jager made 27 tackles missing only 2.   The loosies made a huge number of tackles - but as expected Alberts was the poorest insofar as missed tackles are concerned with a missed tackle ratio of 22,2% '
As expected there was no attacking play either - the Springboks never looked like threatening to score a try.    
The Springboks backline is a farce and that needs to be corrected - but this cannot be done under Coetzee, being clueless about backline play.        

 A little more than half the team should go to be replaced by players who are going to be there long after the next RWC. The win against the Wallabies didn't prove a damn thing other than the Wallabies are worse than the Boks. Above all, I would start with replacing Coetzee and his so-called backline coach.

 Hope they can sort a few wins when they travel, Coetzee will use this year as a stepping stone. The worst case scenario situations, the team has to use this to become better not let it grind them down. But actually watch what went wrong and correct the problems, come up with a strategy that will work for the players. The Boks have good players they just need to be utilised to make the most out of them. 

 Thanks for your good wishes but when I read Coetzee's post match comments I become horrified......he simply does not know. The Boks right now need a mechanic, someone who understands that they're starting afresh at the beginning of a 4yr cycle and he also needs the support of professionals on his coaching staff. Identifying talent is another aspect in which he fails. He then has to decide on a pattern of play going forward.Right now he has none.

Coetzee eventually wakes up and sees the mess Morne's made of it ... suddenly Pat's expected to save the day. 
Has there ever been such a poor coach before?
