The Springboks’ home Test schedule for 2024 is:

Saturday, 6 July: SA vs. Ireland (Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria)
Saturday, 13 July: SA vs. Ireland (Kings Park, Durban)
Saturday, 20 July: SA vs. Portugal (venue TBC)
Saturday, 31 August: SA vs. New Zealand (Ellis Park, Johannesburg)
Saturday, 7 September: SA vs. New Zealand (DHL Stadium, Cape Town)
Saturday, 28 September: SA vs. Argentina (Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit)

------------------------

There will be some rebuilding over the next year or two for all teams, so they can peak for the next world cup. Some players have already retired, and others are long in the tooth.

It would have been nice to have played Portgual as a warm-up to the start of the season.
Instead, it is a tough 2-match series against Ireland - which will be very good.

The Irish will be very disappointed with a quarter-final finish, given they beat the defending and now current world champs in the group stages.

Playing the All Blacks will be a repeat of the final - but in South Africa. If the Boks win the series, it should be enough to secure the 4-nations title. However, the All Blacks will have a better coach. They will be without some of their best players who have retired - like Retalick, Whitelock, Aaron etc

It's going to be a very interesting year of transition.

The potato men and the wee abs will be out for revenge.

Mozzie will be living in hope. Perhaps the Boks will unravel and that of course, in his eyes, will show he has been right all along.

Hahahahahaha.

We are going to kick arse in 2024 with Rassie fully in charge We are going to beat Ireland 2-0 and NZ 2-0 Stick with me - I predicted the Boks under Rassie would win the WC

Rassie has always been in charge if you think Nienaber was allowed to make any significant decision you are dead wrong.

Yeah but Rassie was banned from the grounds so hardly direct involvement with the team on the day You can’t coach or direct via a phone He will be there in person and we will win all those games
