Morne had a very good game and looked like he was not kicking away balls aimlessly.   Especially when Pienaar came on he was getting faster balls and had much better opportunities than when Hougaard did provide the service to him.

Francois Steyn showed serious deficiencies.   In my comments about the POMS tests I was really attacked by fellow Board members who said that I was wrong when I mentioned that he was overweight and far too slow.   Yesterday he was even fatter and slower.   He could only continue to play in the Springbok team if he start playing acceptable rugby - which is not the case at present.

I looked at the comment of Meyer after the game and he was clearly disappointed by some aspect of the play - and I believe that Frabncois Steyn is going to get it in the neck if he does not improve.   Provlem is - Steyn apparently thinks he is a certainty for selection - and to my mind in the three tests he played in since his return from France he was not up to standard.

 Agree with you comments.

But he is not the only player who needs to sharpen up and deliver.

de Villiers, Hougaard, Morne, Jannie du Plessis, Beast, Bekker also need to wake up and deilver or they should be dropped.

We have young talent that should be introduced from the bench to replace these has beens.
