The Stormers game.......

is reminiscent of the ill-fated 2011 WC quarterfinal between the Boks vs Wallabies. The Boks in that game had 76% possession hammering away at the Wallaby try line.
"The Springboks dominated possession and territory in Wellington, yet failed to capitalise on their clear superiority.South Africa, with the experienced Victor Matfield outstanding in the line-out, had 76% territory in the match and denied Australia much possession throughout the game."
Eight years later and it appears that we haven't learnt how to breakdown a defence when hammering away at the opposition try line. Funnily enough in that very same game in a similar scenario the Brumbies like several other Ozzie franchises in the past scored a try showing how it ought to be done.
We haven't learned, we still don't know. The Brumbies knew to expect a physical onslaught and prepared accordingly just as the Wallabies did in Wellington. Teams are wake up to South African physicality, it's not enough, what's missing is the smarts. 
Get over it South Africa, physicality is a given, no team can front without it and it's no longer exclusive to South Africa, ..........the time to invest in the smarts is long overdue.
