The Stormers supporters are in serious need of humour after the disaster on Saturday

Mozart recently bragged about his morzoscopes to plum which he used to post on site.   The last one I can remember was the one on the Ellis Park test in 2013.   Why don't you that Mozart masterpiece and put it back on site - we are indeed in serious need of a laugh.   

 I have no idea what this is about. What on God's green earth is a morzoscope?
Is something from before the internet. Just so you know anything that existed prior to the magical WWW is probably before my time haha

The Mozcroscope is a detailed, time stamped an.alysis of the whole game, a particular aspect like the scrums or a particular player.....used by your's truly. Unfortunately given the total dishonesty of some posters, you can guess who, it is of limited value. Pakie's video clips have more impact....although even there visual evidence is often denied..eg the hilarious case where Morne Steyn was said to be on the ground even though his shadow never attached to his body.

You are the only person in the known universe who thinks that this is a 5cm jump. Just look at that shadow separation.
Also don't forget that you vehemently contended that he never left the ground even after seeing this screenshot, and only accepted it as a jump at all after multiple board regulars turned on you and called you out .

It is impossible to make a "jump" like that and gain any reasonable height with the feet pointing level  - it is even a stretch to call that a jump.  

However, that was never the point - the reason for discussion was the sh!t kick by Morne following the so-called jump was just used as an excuse.   If he could not launch a kick he had a player in a better position behind him - why not pass to him.   He could for a change take a tackle - but Morne is a coward who avoid contact like the plague.  
Fact is even the so-called jump is no excuse for the Morne Sh!t that followed.

 In fact if you look at the shadows, they are inconsistent with the way light patterns work on the highveld or anywhere on earth for that matter.

I take note of this blatant attack on my integrity. Not only mine, but also that of every poster who called Mike out on this incident. Will address it when I have time. Better things to do right now in a beautiful part of the country. Fortunately the video is on Youtube for everyone to see that the image exactly matches the footage.

I have phoned Meyer Bosman's mother to get her opinion. She took one look at that image and immediately confirmed that i t is a Photoshopped effort without any SHADOW of a doubt.

 Ugh! I actually calculated the approximate height, which is actually very accurate, using grade school science...

Count the frames necessary to get from the top of the flight to again touching the ground. Divide it by the number of frames per second of the video clip. That gives you "t"

S = ½at², where a = 9.8 m/s² and t is the value calculated above....

The argument was about the BS kick of Morne Steyn.   What it does confirm is that when it comes to backline play Morne has minimal ability to read the gam and understand what he should do under such circumstances.

Maybe, just maybe, 9.8m/s (metres per second) is not the same as 9.8cm (centimetres).

 Sure flood lights can trick you but they cannot deny the laws of physics. If your feet are touching the ground there is no way that your shadow can "become detached" from your feet. And then there is, of course, the latest "theory" that it actually took place in broad daylight and that the image was Photoshopped.

The calculated height was in fact approximately 28cm , IIRC (Not going to download the video and count the frames again...)

The problem that I have with StupidMaaik is that one usually wastes one's time going through an exercise to prove him wrong, which happens so often, that it is in any case not really worth the time and the effort.

Easiest is to just ignore most of his posts as all of it is opinion based on "feelings" or some nonsense like that... When confronted with actual measurable fact (physical evidence), it is met with some lame excuse and denial. Another fact is that he will NEVER admit that he is wrong, although I have never encountered a person as wrong as often as he is on any other forum in my life!

No mention was made of a jump of 9.8 centimetres, p@epol. Open yer fecking eyes and read what was posted. The theory was that the kick was crap because of the bloody jump. That is the issue and not the fact that the kick was not textbook. How is it possible for one person to have so much sh!t between his ears. Jirre, what are you using your head for, to keep your fecking ears apart or what?

 The kick was really poor and the excuse worse.   A thinking player would not have made that kick - rather pass the ball to another player in the clear or take a tackle resulting in a breakdown.   However, Morne is not really a thinking pivot and his execution has in the main being seriously poor on man occasions.    As an example he is routinely not the starting flyhalf for Stade Francais and there are  very good reasons for leaving him on the bench.  

Nicely sidestepping the 9.8 centimetres again, aren't you? Don't worry. Anybody can see why you would want to avoid that part.
