1st half slowed down after midway mark and became an arm wrestle with both teams kicking for field position allot

Well done Bulls. They are allways a dangerous animal at Loftus. On their performance today, they may still be in with a shout for the Finals.
Lambie have been missed with the early injury, and also the game breaking Reinach. Tim Swiel had an ok game but would probably have liked a more open game than the Bulls at Loftus to start of with.

Sharks deserved to lose. We kicked way too much. So much for Jake saying the Sharks are going there to try some new things..Yeah jake, what was that?? Try to play like the Bulls and the Bulls try to play like the Sharks??
Very frustrating. Some key errors in the death by Kankowski (2 knock ons/turnovers) and Frans Steyn, from the half way line, kicks the 80th minute penalty into touch just 15 metres infront of him instead of 10m out from the Bulls line. Why he did that I will never know?? Surely a lineout drive from 10m out would have sparked the Sharks more than a lineout 35m out..Crucial error...
Anyway, Sharks have lost and sometimes thats needed to bring you back down to earth and realise you need to step it up even further and evolve as the season goes along..Ditto Chiefs.
Just really upset at the amount of kicking and especially aimless, no chaser kicks! Not very Shark like over the past few weeks.
What will Mikey say about another Frans Steyn MOM though??? ;-)

Steyn did well in kicking at goal - but nothing else. Outside of goal kicking he did nothing of consequence - unless you call giving away a penalty straight in front of the polls something like that.
In the first Super 15 game this year Steyn did well - in the second one he missed the ship and since then outside of goal kicking he was a number making up the team sheet in the other three games - a questionable asset at best.
Since his center play produces nothing at all, I wonder whether he should not switch position to number 8 - he cannot be worse than Kankowski in that position and could still do the long distance goal kicking.
