We will need some line-out strengthening and Mostert is not the answer.
That midfield is very fragile. Faf will create a lot of problems for the team, exacerbating that fragility. Defence on the edge will be weak, and neither wing is capable of shoring up the outside. We need a rock at 13. Kwagga is our best player and must start. I'd go 8.Wiese, 7.Dan, 6.Kwagga. Rock solid, skilled and lethal on the ground. England would have a hard time dealing with that trio.
Willemse is a utility back. Not much else at 12. Esterhuizen and Damian. Mapimpi is far better than Arendse. Faf is not test quality. Hendrickse has done nothing to deserve a demotion. Libbok, the jury is still out on him, but he deserves a shot.
Willemse might be better going back to being an impact player off the bench. Although the jury is still out, because he does play at 12 for the Stormers. He is more creative than Delande, but not as strong carrying the ball up.
Willemse operates best when in space. He is the kind of runner that's like Kirchner used to be but less physical. Not so much a facilitator. If you can get some flat manipulation of the line between 10 and 12 the 15 (Willemse) can wreck havoc with 13 (Am). If not at 15, I prefer him on the bench, as he can cover all positions aside from 9. Though, our 9s tend to have such poor skills that he could probably do a reasonable job there too.
