Today was that kind of day...but reversed. I started with the agony of defeat. The Boks dominated for much of this game, which felt a lot like our RWC failure against a similarly struggling Aussie team. But they hung close...too close one felt. And then inevitably things went wrong. Habana was binned, which put the Boks on the defensive. And just when one thought we had dodged the bullet, Morne made the mistake of his career not putting the penalty in touch.

We were better today. Our lineout was dominant and we had the best of the scrumming. But our halves kicked aimlessly. No point in kicking up and unders if you have no kick chase...and without JP we don't have an effective kick chase. Hell most of today we had no chase at all.

Still there was the cricket, where Steyn bowled some brilliant reverse swing. And our established bats..Amla, Faf and de Villiers ate  up the Aussie attack. Faf won this tournament....good  on him.

My conclusion, the thrill of victory didn't quite make up for the agony of defeat.

I was waiting to see what Mozart came up with here and was not surprised that he missed out badly as pernormal.   Our line out domination was by Etzebeth.  When the Aussies threw in the ball Matfield did not even compete once and his roole was in fact inadequate - anybody could have taken the five line outs he took.   The rest of his play was poor and showed serously deficient physicality.
The best of the scrumming?  When was that?   Jannie got blown up regyularly in scrumming and our scrum was never better than that of the Aussies.
The guarded defense of the inadequate Jannoie and Matfield is clearly evident from the above.   However, by Wednesday a reasonwill be found why Morne should remain as starting flyhalf - but atthe moment reference to poor kickingis only a vague excuse for his  bugger-ups.   What about the putrid defense of him and Pienaar?
The cricket performance is a really good blanket to cover discussion ofthe performances of rugby players - Well doe Mozart.
Talking of the ODI yesterday - the ultimate differnece in the team is that we do not have Smith and Kallisin the squad anymore.  That gives us an edge from a batting perspective.   Two geriatrics have been removed over the last year from our crciket squad - a good cleaning up of geritatrics from out rugby is urgently needed.

Gosh, and there I was thinking you might want to apologize for your prediction that Oz would beat the Boks by 14 points .....and that Jannie would be forced off the field by Slipper. Seems to me Jannie pretty much sent Slipper sliding.

I have to say the aimless kicking by both halves were at times questionable, but then again we have rugby illiterate centres that wouldn't know what to do with a rugby ball if one hit them square in the face.So I don't blame them for kicking.Do we need JPP?I think we need a player that has JPP attributes.I would like to see what Mvovo can do at 13.He is fast, can defend and attack.Anyway, either way we wont win against Nzl.Not saying we will loose by miles but we wont win.Team morel is low, player confidence is shaken and so.e players just do t have the go forward anymore.I have to say we miss the bone collector.

Bok centres always get fed the inside switch crash ball back into traffic. That's all. We saw one orthodox backline move from the Boks all day yesterday - the one that ended in Hendricks' try. When is the last time we saw a layered attack like the last move by Aus from a Bok side? If that was a Bok move, Folau would have come back on the angle to crash into the forwards and set up a ruck again instead of running an inside shoulder line into a gap. We are terrified of taking the ball wide.

Bok centres are tackle machines, that's probably why Meyer doesn't even bother with combinations but just plays whoever feels right, even out of position, be it De Allende or Serf. No doubt Allende is a better carrier than Serf, but Serf is a better tackler. Easy call for the Bok way of play.

So Tokkie.....I never even acknowledged Morne's mistake and tried to mislead members on what really happened. You are a low class liar....the kind of person who has made South Africa the mess it is.

For those who still don't believe Tokkie is a pathological liar, a man with a compulsion to lie.....this is what he posted today, trusting he wouldn't be exposed: 'What was really amazing and funny was the way Mozart nd AO tried to mislead the members about what happened. Mozart kept totally silent about the Steyn mishap and attacked Lambie for missing a subsequent tackle. When tackled on his silence he never admitted that Morne fouled up. AO was even funnier = he conjured up a mysterious wind blast that lasted while the ball was in the air and vanished immediately afterwards.'

On this ground, very hard to believe he contributed more than other SA posters on this board.

Mozart

You are onto your normal BS - in another thread dealing with Morne specifically the matter was discussed in detail.

Anyway it is easy for you to dig up threads of years ago and make a change to wording of contributions so as to favour your version of any argument.   I can clearly remember your earlier effort in blaming Lambie for the relevant test loss and never mentioning Morne's flop until it was pointed out to you.

You are a total liar when it comes to postings and I do not trust anything you write as factual - fact is it would not be the first time you change contributions when caught out and then try and query or attack the reaction by other members.

Even the quotation has a problem - it was a real regular for Mozart to miss penalty line kicks from finding tough - there were 7 such cases in 9 tests,   So even in that case Morne made too many mistakes of his career.

'However, by Wednesday a reasonwill be found why Morne should remain as starting flyhalf - but atthe moment reference to poor kickingis only a vague excuse for his bugger-ups.' You responded with that Tokkie....and I can't edit what you wrote......so clearly I did reference Morne's mistakes. Which makes your statement that I kept silent on the Morne mishap a proven lie.

Mozart

You can change your contribution - BSter.

I just made the remarks based on your previous defense of Morne as a flyhalf when he buggered up in tests and that defense went through to even his last two tests,

But I didn't edit my remarks as your response to my remarks clearly shows....caught lying again. The very fact that editing prior statements to win an argument is top of your mind is a tell.

That is why you can never be ignored - because you lie all the time about all of other members, players and incident descriptions.  So the self-declared world experts on rugby analysis can write what they wish,- promoting lies as a basis for incident descriptions/  First prize for deception and arrogance. is one of your achievements on site

It would not be the first time you altered a posting after it be pointed out that you made a mistake and instead of indicating a polite thank you - you altered the posting as if no mistake ever existed and then attack for making a false statement.

Expect it - you have committed more deception on site than anybody else ever did.    So nobody can ever believe you.

What about the recent test analysis where you the year wrong and when pointed out by me that there was no tests played the year at the venues indicated by you - you went on the offensive and did not even thank me for pointing out the problem to you.   Just one example - there were others as well.

I got the year wrong....is that the best you can do. I can guarantee I don't lie.....not that I don't make mistakes. Now find the lies....go ahead if there are so many it should be easy.

I am not stupid like you and live in the past - I do not look for past threads like you do.   I can assure you that you lied through your teeth in any Morzoscope you wrote - and your crude lies were pointed out to you.  I can remember where you made at least one change to that story in that thread after the real situation was pointed out to you.   You later on went back to you original lies so even efforts to get it corrected did not pay off at all.

You lied about the Nonu tale you conjured up and stated emphatically that De Allende missed the tackle on Nonu.   Y ou were stupid enough to put a video clip on site - which showed that the tackle was in fact made and then you changed the story you posted and said you did not say De Allende missed the tackle.

Normal style of the liar you are.

So that's your big evidence.....Nonu. You start out lying about lying. I NEVER said he missed the tackle on Nonu....why would I, anybody can see he never got to Nonu until Nonu passed the ball. Pakie proved that and nobody supported your case, because it was so obviously wrong. Your best shot at proving me a liar is an example you lost in the Court of Public opinion. And even if I was wrong....which I wasn't it was an opinion and not a lie. You don't have any proof because there is none.

You did and was found out by a clip posted by yourself - that was followed by fraud and continued lies,    That was followed by a twisted thesis about what De Allende should have done - only problem was that it was physically impossible to execute.

Lies and deception remains your stock in trade.

I think everyone is well aware of Lügnerin's lies, but they deal with it in varying ways. Some would say most encourage it.
