The current format has created quite a mess. The top two teams in the compitition wont face each other.


I know when they draw the roster there is always one thing that you can plan for and that is the form of teams. 
As it stands, the sharks are top of the log and the Chiefs still not far of the pace. 
But thanks to SANZAR  and all their wisdom. The shars and chiefs wont face each other. They might not face each other at all!!!
Time to change the format!!!

Not to worry it will all come out in the washing machine...not too sure if the Chiefs (NZ's only apparent ace at the moment and that's not at all convincing)...Sharks I'm almost confident that they will be the Sea Cottage in the race as they travel well...the other contenders with outside chance...Oz's have one or 2 outside possibilities...namely the Brumbies or even the Tahs but I don't see it...could be a Bulls Sharks final...well it all boils down to travel factor I believe.

 It's a bit too early to start talking about the top 2 teams, but even so, it's happened before. Not?

On The current form of teams. The sharks and chiefs are the only teams worth the final spot. Both these teams may implode come the play-offs. I might be wrong. Chiefs and brumbies were in the finals. It's jake 3rd year with a better squad of players. So it could be that both are in the final

 Like I said, way too early to talk about the top 2. Sharks look good, but still haven't toured and they lost 1 away game. If they lose all their games abroad, they are in the same boat as the Stormers. ...yes, I know it's extremely unlikely,  but the games have yet to be played.  Lots can and will probably still happen. We are but yet just past a third of the tournament. Getting ahead of themselves can only backfire for the surfers.

 Agree Shawks have had all the home games / reffing decisions and every other variable weigh in their favour to date.


We'll see how they travel and IF they can keep key players on the field...


I would agree though it would be hard to bet against them considering the obvious support they' re receiving from SANZAR...

So far it is the Sharks and Chiefs that st ick out. The Chiefs came from the back to level the scores in the dying moments...a huge achievement for a side that flew in from NZ and playing against a very much improved Bulls in their hallowed Loftus.


At the same time the Shark's only just lost to the same but with their 9 and 10 out in one foul swoop...a huge and crippling blow...rather like losing Joost and Stransky in a 1995 WC final...in this context.


It's impossible to make a judgement now far too early.
