of interest to me are the Sharks and Stormers. I'm tipping a Stormers win by 10 but I'm fencesitting the Sharks game. The Reds have used their get out of jail card in their last two games but they have a massive hometown advantage and it's the Sharks first away game for the season, still I think the Sharks might be able to pip this one in a close finish....that's if they get their act together.
The Reds game is a big test for the sharks. Their pack is going to have to front up with the game of their lives as their backline is clearly not going to win this one for them. Overall, the Reds look to be the more complete side. When is Cooper returning?
The Blues are weakened this week, but with good momentum. The key to victory over them is to dominate the set pieces and the contact area. The Bulls blew that game in the opening ten minutes with some ridiculous mistakes. The Blues are by no means a walkover, but they really are vulnerable in a lot of areas as well. I hope the Stormers don't play into their hands by trying to run it.
You have to feel sorry for the Brumbies this week. Only their third game of the season and they are up against the Chiefs away from home! I hope they keep it competitive, but the Chiefs have a real knack for racking up points quickly. Some of their tries this season have come from absolutely nothing, real quality behind their play.
And if the Cheetahs can't beat the Rebels then I damn well give up! lol!
You're not wrong about it being a big game for the Sharks. The Brumbies will fall apart against the Chiefs and the Cheetahs should have a narrow win against the Rebels...referee permitting. Blues are depleted and I expect the Stormers to step up a gear......or so they should.
Cooper has said that he'll be back when his back. In other words no date has been set.
Denny, I'm pretty sure the Sharks are playing at home. I have a ticket and it never came with an airplane ticket. LOL

Stormers should take their game. It won't be easy, as it never really is, but their side should take it at newlands.

Very funny UmgeniShark...if not sarcastic....but yes I did note my error in hindsight and I meant to correct it but somehow never got around to doing so. Main thing is for the Sharks to gel and to win well.
