I woke up at 4.30am to watch that game on the Net. Was pretty impressed with the Baby Boks. The only real passengers were Mkhabela at 9 and Nonkontwana at 4.
They did say that lock JD Schickerling was being held back for this game and would only play 30min off the bench, so I suspect that he will start at 4 against NZ. However the colour issue could get in the way of this.
Same applies to the scrumhalf position.
Was very impressed with Schoeman at 1, but as good as he was, monster Thomas du Toit of the Sharks was a real handful when he came on. I can see why Jake has had this 19 year old in his S15 squad.
Marx at hooker is another powerhouse in the Bismark mould. The loosetrio were very good.
Pollard at 10 was simply sublime, he is a star of the future.
Esterhuizen at 12 got no attacking opportunities and hopefully he is not concussed, which would rule him out of the game against NZ.
Kriel at 13 is a real class act - beautifully balanced player. Was interesting to see him at 13, given he usually plays 15. Another Bok for the future this kid.
Petersen and Gallant are both full of running and have great steps in the Kolbe mould.
Greef on the wing is a real monster at 105kg and will take some stopping
The Baby Boks looked good, as did England. NZ did not play all their stars so we cant really tell yet
On a humorous note, what a laugh Matt Skelton's brother is for Samao......the guy is an unfit lump of a lard. At 2.05m and 145kg, one could see why he needed a special chair to sit on. Geez he is huge but equally useless
