By the way all the Springboks playing fo forei gn clubd and all the elsh players will be going back to their URC squads today. Played outside of the test window it will not count for rankin g points either,

Before e altest additions thre ae only 23 players left in the squad and of those even in positions there are shortages in soe and suficient playes in other positions. At lock there will be only two players left and in the case of loosies only three players left - counting in Esterhuizen as a loosie,

Nobody would know what the Welsh team would look like, since all the welsh players will be abck to the URC squads and what is elft is second elvele wWelsh players not used by their clubs,

Partlly I think the whoie problem with the match is to get younger players involved in a sham match that will be no real problem for the youngste to win - but the remaining players in the squad is some oldies that does not need to prove themselves anymore.

For the to major URC teams that can be severly affcted in the process are the Stomers playng Munster and the Bulls playing the Lions and the Sharks playing Connacht, The othe su is the Sharks playing Connacht as well/ The Bulls will have a home match the ther twp tams mentioned will have an away match. Especially the two Irsish teamss will have their test players back - the SA teams not so.

The other problm is the European Champions Cup series will satrt on 5 December and the SA teams will be playing different opponents onm even a stronger elvel than it invoves the SA teams - that with playes tha have not played for their franchises for moe han a month. A least the Irish, Scotland and Welsh teams will have preparatory matches for that tournament - while the SA teams wil have no such matches,

I heard that only 25 players will remain for the Welsh test.

The game is a farce and should be cancelled.

What 25 players? Of the 36 man squad was down to 21 players when all the players contracted to foreign clubs will remain and two players have eben added to the squad, A hooker and a a prop. Thatmakes it 23 players - but thenm of those 3 are scrummies. Of the abckline player Arendse could not play on yesterday because his concussion still show problems and is not clea he can play - so back to 22.

If the idea was to used the match to blood new younstes there is no ral evidence of that in the remainder of the squad, Fact is of thea remaindder moxt are players hat already played in tests before and no new players are being added,

So what is the objectvoe wih hat test/

Wales are desperate for cash. The boks have played so many games this year and it has been a long tour. These players will have to hop back on a plane only to be home for five days before coming back to Europe. Rassie for what he needed from the season. No winners in this game other than Welsh Rugby and SA Rugby milking the cow dry

KC

I do not t hink SA players will fly back to SA - since he Sharks will have to play 2 matches in a row in the succeding weeks in Europe. It is not a of tams fly back to SA when that tye of t hig happen.

For instance the Stormers and Sharks will play in Ireland on 28 November and two ECC matches the next week the Stormers in France and the S ghrks in Durban

The achedule or the ECC matches in December (Round 1 and 2) and January (Round 3 and 4) will be as follows:-

Round 1 - 4 to 6 December 2025

Bayonne - Stormers

Bulls - Bordeaux

Toulouse - Sharks

Round 2 - 11 to 13 December 2025

Stormers - La Rochelle

Sharks - Saracens

Northampton - Bulls

Round 3 - 9 to 11 January 2026

Bulls - Bristol

Sale - Sharks

Harlequins - Stormers

Round 4 - 16 to 18 January 2026

Pau - Bulls,

Sharks - Clermont

Stormers - Leicestor

The URC Schedule is as follows:-

28 November 2025

Connacht - Sharks

Bulls - Lions

Munster- Stormers

20 December 2025

Stormers - Lions

Sharks - Bulls

27 December 2025

Lions - Sharks

Bulls - Stormers

3 January 2026

Sharks - Lions

Stormers - Bulls

JUST A QUESTION - WHO WANTS TO BE A PROFESSIONAL RUGBY PLAYER WITH THOSE KIND OF SCHEDULES AWAITING THEM?

At least 1 Consolation - there are no matches scheduled for Christmas Day.

Why should Wales be punished with a cancelled game? The schedule ia not their fault.

Whose fault it is then - definitely not World Rugby. Wales Rugby needing money desperately must have asked SARU for the mtach and somehow it was agreed upon before the match schedules as quoted above were released,

Of the 23 players remaining in the Springbok squad 6 are from the the Stormers and Lions - 3 each from the latter two franchises. The otherr 17 are from the Bulls and the Sharks,

That may lead to losses by the Bulls and the Sharks - with the Stormers being on thin ice as well.

Imagine by now if Rassie had played his best test side game by game this year as suggested by some Mamparas.

How many would still be standing. How many would have retired.

For the game to be in the schedule SARU had to agree to it and World Rugby had to give final approval.

Which Boks are available for selection against Wales as the match falls outside the test window

Obviously all the SA based players - what about the Jap based players?

This match would have been the perfect opportunity to play the following side and rested all our main players

15 Jordan Hendrikse 14 Seb de Klerk 13 Julius 12 Hooker 11 Edwil 10 Libbok 9 vd Bergh 1 Mchunu 2 AH Venter 3 Porthen 4 Cobus Wiese 5 Ruben v Heerden 6 Buthelezi 7 Vincent Tsituka 8 Roos

16 Grobelaar 17 Matongo 18 Hanro Jacobs 19 JF v Heerden 20 Manu Tstituka 21 Papier 22 David Kriel 23 Henco v Wyk

Rassie should have flown them out for the week
