most interesting to me was the Bok pattern of play, it's early days but yesterday's pattern of aggressive defense is reminiscent of Jake White's 2007 Tri Nations and RWC. That's fine, for one there's no sense in trying to razzle dazzle while the current squad lacks the required skills and secondly, it's the type of style that gels with the Bok DNA. There is nothing complicated in its structure and it will work for them.
As for individual efforts, Elton had his best game ever although I cringe every time he lays his hands on the ball, he'll never be the numero uno Bok flyhalf, more like a train smash waiting to happen. Nkosi is a carthorse, Ishitahuis was a rabbit staring into the headlights, Galant is a lottery, PSDT had a fine game, arguably his best, Louw was effective and so too was Marcell Coetzee, Lood was ok, just ok, Eben was huge and Steyn ran straight and hard. Little Herschelle was electric , about the only one who thinks on his feet, guess it helps when someone in the team has more than the average brain cell count of two. Kolisi found his slot in the Bok as the waterboy here's hoping it's permanent.
