"The Springboks since the break have been shambolic" perfect is The Springboks  are s hambolic.
and this "This is the worst Springbok side I've ever seen."
There's much to be said about this quote..."If you don't get your hopes up you can never be disappointed."

 Commentators want to stay in activity. They willl encourage SA rugby to keep going as long as possible, no matter the costs for SA.

Rugbys are in a bad shape. Commentators for the NZ France game were also enthusiastic on the way the french squad lost (as they were for the game against AUS)

Commentators, just like rugby fan boys, want their sports events.

French rugby is going nowhere but to loser ranks. They lost their two games in an encouraging manner. It was pleasing to the fans.

Commentators want to stay in activity, it is their job. They will push for their own interests even if that means bankrupting countries.
