Perhaps it’s too early to start with WC prospects with the Super Series and test matches still to be played…but I love this event…it’s still by far my favourite…a long wait every 4 years but the best…the biggest stage. It’s a time when all the rugby playing nations gather…with high hopes and ambitions…some goals with the smaller nations dim into insignificance…i.e. Georgia’s ambition is to get into the quarters…it can certainly happen but from there on the chances are minimal to progress further. The next couple of WC’s they will struggle to pass this but some day there will get a break.
The 4 contesters will be NZ, SA, England and France with Australia and Ireland being major threats…even Wales you cannot disregard…
