The wird country we are living in

Things get weirder by the day and one wonders whether it really is worthwhile since lying, corruption, police crooking and attacking people who are seen as obstructing the Government are rife.
So lets start with the lying part and our Minister of Sport is a fine expert.   He threatened SARU that if they do not meet his quota requirements he is going to jeopardize their bid for the 2023 WC and also with all kinds of financial actions taken against rugby.   Then he came up with the big lie - SARU volunteered the quota of 50% Black players and he is keeping them to their word.  
As to the rest we have ample evidence over the last few days alone.   In 2012 the Department concerned approved a tender to monthly pay out social welfare grants to circa 17 million people.   In 2014 the Constitutional Court ruled the tender as illegal and suspended their decision to 2017 so as not to stop the payments on legal grounds.    However, the Department did nothing to correct the issue and the Minister concerned sabotaged every effort to correct the process in line with the ruling of the Constitutional Court.  
On Friday the Constitutional Court delivered the most scathing judgement imaginable and went so far as to state that the Minister must provide reasons why she should not be held liable personally for the costs of the trial.  
On Saturday there was a break-in at the office of the Chief Justice and the computers containing the data of all judges and other court officials - nothing else was stolen.   That is not surprising since on Friday - which the Government should regard as Black Friday from a legitimate perspective - the Gauteng High Court ruled that the appointment of the Head of the  Hawks was illegitimate and invalid as well because he lied in court under oath.   The Minister of Police immediately indicated that he is going to appeal the decision on what an at best be spurious grounds.  Hopefully he will also end up paying the costs of appeal.
Yesterday there was another inexplicable break-in at the house of the ex-Director General who objected to the conduct of the Minister on the Social Grant issue and resigned.   His domestic employee was over-powered and his children managed to lock themselves and the employee in a room - while the criminals were thus given the opportunity to steal whatever they wish.   They stole nothing - a clear case of intimidation.
The real reason for the above is clear.   Government is trying to intimidate the judges and other people as well.   The Hawks was involved in the campaign to get rid of Gordhan as Minister of Finance and they act purely on instruction from Zuma and his clique.  
One wonders why all the above is happening.   It all goes back to Zuma.   The illegal contractor iro social grants are according to ANC MP's allegedly funding the election campaign of Zuma'z ex-wife to become leader of the ANC.  The latter has to make sure the patronage crooks - inclusive of Zuma himself - are not charged with bribery and corruption when his term ends in 2019 or even before that date. 
Some funny court cases are coming up - one including the appeal of Zuma against the 738 charges of bribery and corruption he was accused of in 2007 and dropped in 2009 by the NPA head on spurious grounds.  The Gauteng High Court  ruled that the charges be re-instated and he appealed against the ruling.  Hopefully he will also be required to pay for the appeal costs out of his own pocket.  
The country is going to the dogs and the Traditionalist is obviously a planted member to do their dirty work iro rugby on this site .

 Beyond the pipe dream of corruption as a solution to SA problems, this bit shows excellent men's failure at acknowledging each other.

As stated many times, the ruling government members in SA are excellent men.
As an evidence of it, they will keep trying to keep SA rugby going by all means.

It is known that SA team does not meet the quota policy. There was no cause to lift off the interdiction of bidding for a world event.
Yet it was done. The cause: the SA government members are excellent men and will do anything they can to keep rugby going.

They are no different from other excellent men in SA, they share a common point on rugby, they want to keep it going, at all costs.

Instead of taking notice of this obvious common point, this bit writes a tale claiming that some of the people who will do all they can to keep rugby going share the same bed as people who want the termination of SA rugby.

This erring, typical to excellent men, is easy to correct. Members of this board (minus one) are all in the same bed as these government people. They share the common idea that rugby in SA must keep going, at all costs.
They are the planted members to do the dirty work.

All these people, just like SA government, can not tell any reason to keep rugby going in SA.
Why the bid for the WCR, except for strengthening the committment to rugby?
No other reason.Watching a SA SR game shows the country works at an overcapacity. Stadiums are empty, there is no demand for rugby in SA.

The bid is made, more resources are squandered on SA 15 rugby for no other result that propping a faltering rugby, and preventing an effort to cope with kids dying from starvation, or working out the water issue or one of the many other issues in SA.

As long as rugby goes.

So corruption is in order and the only problem is that SA allows rugby to be played !!!!  Blaas my siel

Corruption is found anywhere. There is no country clean of corruption. Now  all corrupted places do not suffer  from kids dying from starvation.
This corruption story is distraction. Chasing down the illusion of removing corruption (no country has done this before) or eliminating deaths from starvation for kids (other countries did that)

Second point: the volumes in corruption. The previous regime was corrupted by billions dollars. Following the depletion of resources happening in SA, the current regime is corrupted by tens millions USD. As it goes on, they will be corrupted by millions USD soon.

A few months ago, one president in Africa was deposed on matter of corruption. During his reign, he stashed 10 million USD. This is 10 days in life for 500 000 2 dollars per day people.
Re injecting 10 would not have changed anything.
In Europe, one football player stashed 150 MUSD from taxation.

Cleaning SA from corruption will not do the job. The day a sportsperson stashes 150 M USD from taxation, the day things will go better.

In fact the top corrupt countries in the world are mostly in Africa - with Zimbabwe and SA near the top of the list.

The traditionalist is a world expert but certainly, has never left the shores of SA. His only understanding consists of media consumption combined with a simplistic worldview of the excellent men conspiracies. 
 I usually just skip past his gibberish copied and pasted from post to post. However, recently he has been putting more thought into this- and more enjoyable and laughable.

If you think that guy in Gambia only stole $10 million - you must have your head read.   That was just the loot in his last few days in office.   What about the loot over the previous 22 years?
Zuma's son has allegedly compiled a fortune of R1 billion - all through Gupta looting and his father would not sign the FIC Bill because he and all his cronies will serve Jail time.  
The SA loot under Zuma was at least R500 billion per year - if fruitless and irregular spending is taken into account.   That will provide housing to and feed a lot of hungry children.  
Rugby spending is chicken feed compered to what the patronage system of Zuma and his cronies are doing to the SA economy.         

 Mike Trad is pretty thick. Though even the thickest of the thick could understand that rugby spending amounts to a fraction of a fraction of a percent in terms of the whole pie.
So what other motivation could he possibly have for constantly calling for an end to a game predominantly watched and played by whites and coloureds in SA?

 What The Trad fails to grip is that Rugby is a business...whether it's losing rugby or winning rugby.....it's a business.
If was up to him there'd be a lot more in the dole queue wanting for handouts.

Ok, I think TheTrad is a nutter, but I must defend him on one point. He is not only being Anti-White! He is saying, the excellent men in the past (the white government) were plundering resources. But he also clearly says the current government (the black government) are doing the same.  
As for everything else he is says , I disagree completely! 

The difference is that the Nats were amateurs at it.
The ANC have perfected the art.
