The Worst All Black Team in History

No offence to New Zealand, but this is by far the worst All-Black team I have ever seen.

Wales put up a better fight, and they are ranked 8th in the world 

If the Boks had been clinical on attack, it would have been a 40-point win. The Boks only had 2 backline reserves. So with the early injury to Faff, it meant Willie Leroux could not get onto the pitch to create scoring chances until the very end of the game - where he almost instantly scored. 

Delande managed to destroy most attacking moves, and if he had left the fray earlier the Boks would certainly have scored more tries. His long pass is so bad, he has taken to kick passes which were hopeless. When he is bad, he is really bad and becomes the worst crash ball in the game. What is the point of having a scrum and passing to him to walk into tackles and to get isolated? Rather just pick and drive with the forwards until a space opens up. 

Foster has to go. The body language of the All Blacks was negative. Only at the very end, did they start to look like a semblance of the traditional All Blacks. 

The basic error rate by the ABS has never been so high, and this was amongst wild passes that destroyed their most promising attacking movements. 

The All Black breakdown was an eat as much as you want buffet. The high ball was like taking candy from a baby. 

The All Blacks’ loss to the Springboks was the fifth in six Tests after three defeats by Ireland and another by France. Foster has lost nine of 25 Tests in charge of the three-time world champions while predecessor Steve Hansen suffered 10 defeats in 107 Tests.

If ever we had an opportunity to run 60 pts past the mighty All Blacks, this was it.

Instead we chose to select our team on race and not on merit.

Our entire backline is riddled with chumps, most of which are there to appease our racist government.

We use to have the mindset of selecting on merit ... but the masses complained ... and so we’ve compromised our principles to appease them.

We now see the undeserving wearing the green and gold and everybody’s fine with it.

It used to be that a special player made the Bok side ... now anything goes .. and the darker you are the more you stand a chance of selection.

What’s really sad is that the most avid Bok fan has resigned himself to this ... and what makes it even sadder is that they sing the praises of these chumps and try to make them out as world beaters when in truth they are everything but.

The truth of it all is that guys like Willemse, Mapimpi, Am, De Lindy and Arense are not test material. They are quotas ... talentless ... simply there to make up the numbers.

It was hilarious to see Brainfart Le Roux celebrating his fall over try by high fiving everyone in the stadium. One would swear he had created some kind of magic himself.

To think there are folks on this board that actually rate this chump as a must have.

We even have some saying that Etzebeth is the best 4 to ever have played the game.

The talented youngsters that do come through know that there’s no future for them in this country and so leave for other shores.

Look at our pack. Hamburger Nyakane is more focused on stuffing his face with an assortment of carbs than committing to the sport. He knows he’s a sure thing and so does as he pleases. They even select him out of position just to make sure the demographics are in place.

Then we have the useless Bongi taking up a spot that Akker vd Merwe deserved .. and the avid rugby fan says nothing about it.

We played against the worst All Black side in at least 40 years ... if not ever.

You know what's funny CC??? At first receiver, they had a movement they kept fucking up all game. The pass behind the screen to second receiver. So we win the RWC, we Win the Rugby Championships, we beat the British Lions and now we beat the Wee Abs. 

But no matter what the Boks achieve they are useless.

It’s difficult to say where we are now given the decline in SH rugby and the ABs in particular. Were the Irish that good, are the French even better…..it’s hard to say given the AB measuring stick is so compromised.

This is the weakest AB team in a long time….no question about that. But the Boks can only play what’s in front of them. It appears we won’t get much closure until the YE tour.

But the Boks are always a tough opponent. We won the match yesterday based on our defence totally disrupting the AB attack and based on scrum dominance.  Those same challenges will have to be met by any NH pretenders.

It is inexplicable that after 20 minutes of running successfully at the ABs….taking quick lineouts…..we reverted to the usual pattern of kicking and mauling. The first 20 was exhilarating the rest a bit of bore really, until Willie’s hilarious try.

Perhaps given the decline in AB rugby and the pressure our style will  put on France and Ireland we will emerge as the clear favorite going into the WC. But why waste so much good ball…we had the dominance to put 30 points on the ABs yesterday, I can’t help but feel eventually we will regret not adding creative backline play to the mix.

My 2 cents, we were fuckin terrible and a good bok team would have put 40 points on us.

Score flattered us more than you as we were fuckin terrible.

Our useless prick coming out and saying we had improved is complete crap.

Boks dominated us for 90% of the match and any break we got we fucked up with poor hands or schoolboy rugby passes.

Killed us at the breakdown and in the air.

Thought our scrum went better than expected but still gave up 3 or 4 penalties.

Our cleaners went completely missing where as the boks were always there to stop our boys.

Need a complete clean out at rugby HQ and coaching staff now.

We have the talent but need someone to get them organized and playing as a fuckin team not a bunch of headless chooks

So Sader what would the right starting AB  15 look like?

Makes no difference who we put out there at the moment,  up to me I would just get razor and the Crusaders squad, at least they are a cohesive team and know what Razor expects. Still wouldn't win but we would be better than this rabble under fozzie

Must admit that this AB's squad is perhaps the weakest one I can recall.

But all teams have a few years on top and once you are on top the only way is down. 

All teams have gone through this cycle, just look how France have bounced back.

I for one think the Springboks had a good 10 minutes at the start of the game and then fell back to the old routine of kicking.

Unfortunately, no way do I think that this Springbok combination/play will win the next WC.

The Bok opening was heavily scripted. Still needed a lot of luck. Pretty fortunate bounce of the ball.

The All Blacks have to many  top players from the  2014 to  2017 glory years still on their team.   Players like Whitelock and Smith should not be near the team at all - they are way past their best performance-wise.  

I agree with CF though - some fresh start is needed - the old school approach is not helping the All Blacks at all.        

They'll be back, they're a proud rugby nation with a strong rugby culture.

Very true ….the Boks are the most genuinely national team in the game. Other nations import, we export. France, Scotland, Ireland, Italy have all been beneficiaries. Importing countries benefit hugely,   Marcus Smith for example was born in Manila and is a real plus. Take France’s imports away and they would be a shadow of the current team.

Why does South Africa export? Because you fucks can't wait to run away from South Africa. We English don't flee to other lands. Strange seeing the ABs  where the boks were under coetzee, but for Foster the slide came much later. Whereas we had time to fix the mess. 

I would rather beat a AB team at their peak then one where they are now. 

Although, we have a lot of ground to make up and correct the win ratio. 

Let's see what happens this weekend before final judgement. 

They'll be up for it this weekend...remember, last weekend was their first match on SA soil in 4 years, Super Rugby in South Africa stopped in March 2020...and we host them next to the Kruger Park in the African Bush...they were overwhelmed by the occasion...and we were highly motivated...this weekend will be different
