I watched the game till halftime and then lost interest = the Crusaders were poor against the worst team in Super Rugby. They are just not good enough and the problem is that in my book they could not even produce an MOM - that honour should go to Labuschagne. A boring game to watch anyway.
You didn't miss anything in the 2nd half either. Apart from a few minutes here and there of good play in the 2nd half it was a borefest.
Blues also struggled to beat them last week too. Maybe Credit should go to the Sunwolves. Definately improoved this season. The international players are def helping. Partic the ones who hav played SR. Like Lauabachagne. Matale got me ova 120 pts in Fantasy so solid. I expect the Canes to win by 25 or least next Friday night though.
Cloudy they don't have a ten. I think they hav so many things going wrong for them. 18 players out does not help. I just think you look at the kiwi sides who are dominating Canes and Saders. Two class tens. With all respect to Perofeta who has promise. And Gatland whos soild. I Think Blues hav struggled since Carlos. Look at that 2003 side. Great consistent tight five. Exciting backline. Who had a great platform. I mean 2nd half againgst Landers thy had 70% possesion. That says Blues are holding ball well. But watching the game, they are predictable. Poor Decision making too, too many errors. Watch them againgst the Lions their best win this season. Tight Five was getting ova the advantage line. And the backs were, partic Reiko was all ova the Lions. That formula just has not shown again. I feel for you Cloudy. Trust me been their with the Canes haha. They'll get their.

Some here might be at a loss and suffer withdrawal symptons but I suggest take up golf or better still go fishing...the latter is far more beneficial to you and the family and the dog which is not kicked...hahahahaha.
Mike you live close to Stilbaai...the surf and boat fishing is awesome and there nothing that you cannot learn and the taste of fresh line fish...probably the tastiest food you can eat and certainly the healthiest...that's why the Japanese have longevity

the aim yesterday was to get the 5 points and give some gametime to the players who are not getting it,.... mission accomplished
next weekend many incumbents are coming back to the starting XV after 2 weeks' rest (or more),... Codie Taylor, Sam Whitelock, Taufua, Samu, B. Hall, R. Mo'unga, J. Goodhue (probably need some more time but he's close to the comeback), D. Havili (though I hope Robertson sticks with last weekend's outside back, Mataele, Dagg and Bridge),.... and they are playing 3 aussie teams and the Blues before playing the canes in what could be the most decisive game of the tournament,....
while the saders and canes have now some very winnable games ahead, the Lions have to play in NZ and they'll lose at least one which will let them with 4-5 loses,... the chiefs have to play in SA and the game against the sharks they'll be without their AB who have to attend an AB camp in NZ,.... quite unfair for the chiefs
so very probably the saders-canes game could decide who tops the table,.... if the saders can avoid injuries to their imortant players they'll have a big chance of winning at home,.... so you can rest free from worries, mike

The problem is that the Jaguares beat both the Rebels and Brumbies the past two weeks and that raises some questions about progress as well. They also beat the Lions this year - so they are also improving.
the only worrying issue I saw yesterday was Drummond's game,.... worst game I've seen from him by far,.... he was horrible,.... awful kicking game, loose passes,.... he's going to get surpassed for the AB 3rd scrummie poosition but there's no clear candidate for it
Makalio's lineouts were also dreadful,.... if Taylor gets injured saders can have a problem there
Saders Canes prob going to b game to decide 1st place yes. either way Both get home advantage in playoffs. Saders going to be alot better when they play the Canes regardless. Canes would of won easily this we.

I am not sure at all whether the Lions will lose two games in NZ - but for he rest I think there are some dark days ahead for NZ teams in SA over the next few weeks.
This coming Saturday the Highlanders are playing the Bulls in Pretoria - a difficult lace for outside teams to win -remember what happened there to the Hurricanes there. I do not give the Highlanders more than a 30% chance to win in that game. They week after that they play the Sharks - but should have a 50-50 chance in that game.
Then we have the Chiefs situation - they have to play the Lions and the Stormers and my money in both games are on the local teams winning.
The chiefs will find it the hardest I think with injuries and the ABs out but they still keep winning games they should have lost. Wouldn't surprise me if they managed to win one of their games away (please let it be the stormers one or the beeno crowing will have me vomiting into my cornflakes)
With Highlanders who knows, if the Saffas are not firing on all cylinders they will win but if the bring their A game its going to be tough for them as well,

yeah, crusadersfan,... the chiefs have overcome their high injury toll with great self-believe and managed to keep their style while playing like a team,.... it wasn't easy but Cooper is doing a good job,... but the game against the sharks whithout their AB (in adition to their injuries) could be too much,-... missing Retallick and Cane is going to weaken their pack and sharks have a very physical one apart from playing at home
the game in SA against the stormers (after playing the jaguares at home) is, instead, a winnable one,... so may be you don't ruin your breakfast,.... Stompies are at the bottom of the SA conference,.... as mike predicted, something to say mr. Bean?
I didn't mention the landers but obviously they are still there,... let see what they are doing in their SA trip,.... won't be easy, they play some improving Bulls and Sharks,.... they need to win both to be in the fight to top the table,...
