With Mostert out I was half expecting to see the return of that pretender Orie back in the squad

Boks record with Mostert starting 32 wins out of 46 matches. A 70% win ratio.

Eluckmiss’ record….47 wins out of 68…a 69% win ratio.

Mostert will be back, but he is in the same boat as the other More aged players that he is finishing his career…. Like Eben, Mostert is a one of kind player that will be missed, but only by some of us :)

Moste is useless in Tight 5 play and someties noted for line-out play,   He si useless in ball prection and recovery    Misleading statements by Mozart like Mostert played in 46 tests is total BS - Mostet played in 72 tests for the Springboks.

Afte disstrous performance by Mostert in the AB tests caused him to be dropped to the bench for the rest of the matches.   And that shows he became a fringe player on test level and  that was the position and that ws that Mostert was selected only when better lock players were out as a result of  injuries.

His absence from tests the rest of this year will gve the opportunity to stake their claims to be selected and if that indeed happens the already ove 30 years of age he wil not get back into the squads to play in 2025 and later tests.

Do not be concerned folks after all we have "Kaptein" Moerat to fill the hole created by Moster's injury.

Er Wanker….here’s the thing. You have to eliminate the tests he started as a reserve and those that were inconclusive. Hence 46 matches. He played in 76 tests…but 2 were draws, which I eliminate from both sides of the balance sheet….and 28 he started as a reserve.

76- 28-2=46

There, now you have been schooled. And here’s his test summary…..76 not 72.

Franco MostertFull names: Francois JohnDate of birth: 27 Nov 1990Place of birth: WelkomSchool: BritsSpringbok no: 872Debut test province: LionsPhysical: 1.98m, 103kgCurrent age: 33

Test summary: Tests: 76 Tries: 3First Test: 18 Jun 2016 Age:25 Reserve against Ireland at Ellispark, JohannesburgLast Test: 13 Jul 2024 Age:33 Lock against Ireland at Kingspark, Durban

The truth is. Oster was a player with a big engine and great heart. But he lacked the physicality needed to be thought of as a great lock.

No great lock spends 37percent of his time on the bench. Further, save for the injuries to RG and Lood those 78 tests would have sharply dropped in number.

Beeno the realist as always.

He was useless ibn 74 t3st an scored 3 tries.    But that is nt the point -0 the point is eh si not a klocks backside or perhaps he is.   Average weght of locks noaways are 120 kgs of hard muscle - he weighs 103 kgs,

No wonder De Allende is better inball protection than he is,  No wonder backline players push him out of the loose scrums.

What you lefg ou is hardly relevant - bu you are known to distort information you provido on site,

Apparently Mostert has made a fast recovery and will be on injury standby.

Early in the final year of Superugby you picked 5

extended squads (about 35 players each..................... 175 total).

No prizes for guessing who missed out.

Pathetic.

Yep Blob you dumbfuck that is how little I rate him Why would I rate a 112kg lock that offers no special skills outside of his lack of physicality If I was picking my top 150 SA players today - powder puff would not make my list What is pathetic is you wasting your time on a rugby message board when you know fuck all about rugby Are you desperate for attention or just fucking bored?

Wanker when you have claimed somebody made a mistake and it turns out you have made the mistake, it’s customary to apologize, not simply launch a new unrelated attack,
