Its hardly started and look at the injury list. SARFU needs expert advice. Call in Prof Tim Noakes of the Sports Science Instutute to investigate. Amove far to profound for SARFU to work out
Frankly these injuries are as serious a drawback as bent down under refs!!!

The players spend too much time in gym and eat too much creatine, so the extra weight is making the collisions too extreme. They also become too clumsy with no step and just seek to make contact.
Look at someone like Jaco "crash ball" Taute.
He started rugby as quick skillful athlete with speed and a great step making him an agile dangerous attacking player.
Fast forward 2 years later, an now he is a cumbersome brute with the step of a warthog.

The elderly players coming back are likely to get injured more often than not. How long will Burger be out?
Mozart's prayers for Goosen to get injured has not really materialized as yet.

king sadly knee injuries will always occur in the sport no way to stop that unless we turn it into touch rugby dont think thats going to happen. However I dont think its due to the super rugby season being to long... most english players play more rugby than the southern hem, its just how rugby is.
NFL changed the rules this year to encourge hits to the lower body and leg area, they have seen an increase in knee injuries since. this just shows you that no matter what if the injuries are going to occur.
