4 nations Champs

RWC Champs

Number 1 world ranking, thanks significantly to Rassie and Nieaber.

Just as the US economy could tank if Trump is not reelected.

Jake White won RWC and was given the boot. What a disaster.

Rassie wins RWC after only 2 years in the job, a true rugby genius. Now it appears he is stepping down. Will we get another PDV.

Who in fact can we get hwho understands Bok rugby like Rassie.

By the way oaks so glad to see a Bok power pack again being fielded. It's one of our competitive advantages.

There is a huge difference as to the cases of White and Erasmus.   Erasmus was never appointed as Chief Coach - he was appointed as SARU DIRECTOR of RUGBY,   Since it would not have worked out to appoint a Chief Coach a month before the start of test rugby in the SH in 2018  and 15 months before the WC - Erasmus took on both jobs on the clear understanding that a new Chief Coach will be appointed after the WC,

Organizationally the Chief Coach falls under the Director of Rugby.   So in Erasmus' case he will still have the final say as to rugby matters - while White was kicked out because of shenanigans by the Bulls, the Cheetahs and the Watson crowd and was not appointed to another post in SA Rugby.   .

Mike we shall see what happens. Could be huge pressure to appoint quota coach.

Erasmus must stay on! This needs a rethink.

The problem with the ranking is that the next test series is the 6 Nations and for SH countries  only in June.

Brycy

I was very disappointed with the loss of the All Blacks when they played England.  They were much better against Wales and that was a real reflection of  rugby strength of the AB's.   However, I think part of the problem of the AB's is that Hansen was too long the AB coach and he got set in his ways and even selections.

I think a number of team renewals are called for and we shall soon see the result of the recovery of NZ rugby and the competitiveness between SA and NZ.   After all it is in those two countries where the real strength of world rugby in fact is .

I do not think that Erasmus would want a weak coach.   My guess is the final candidate for the job will be that guy Jones that worked with Erasmus at Munster,   They have a very similar approach to the science of rugby and I think Erasmus drafted him in to get to know the players and the set-up.   I also think that after winning the WC Erasmus will have a final say a s to what should happen.

Brycy if you want see class in motion and the type of forwards da kbbs can only dream about you should look at the match.

However I warn you that you risk deep bouts of depression.

Only a bad Bok coach can save the wee abs.  ENGLAND bullied the wee ab pack. Boks munched the England pack. Join the dots Brycy my friend.

Mike we can only live in hope.

Personally I don't think Rassie is replaceable. We shall see.

A White /Jones duo could do it but Eddie wants to be in charge no doubt.
