that ignorant clown who put the blame on the Protea batsmen for not throwing caution the wind by hitting 4's and sizes. That said I doubt anything will penetrate his most thick skull.
Rilee Rossouw, one of the few batsmen to master the conditions in Friday’s loss, hopes the batsmen will take good learning from the loss and put it into execution against Australia.

“It was really tough,” he said of his innings of 61 off 83 balls. “We expected a bit of a sub-continent surface and that is exactly what we got. It was difficult to hit the ball off the square and to rotate the strike. Myself and AB (De Villiers) needed to find a way to build the partnership without any high risk shots. We have a fairly good idea of how the surface will play so hopefully the guys will settle in and make a big play for us tomorrow.”

Hard to have a sense of how a wicket might impact stroke play, when you never have batted on one, good or bad.

I made 74 off 35 overs on Sunday batting on an awful pitch that kept low......very unlike me to take that long.

I only really came to appreciate how bad the pitch was when I was standing at slip!!

Sure - Pollard came in and hit six after six - the Protea batmen failed badly.   Rossouw was OK - the rest other than De Kock putrid,  De Villiers included.
