Has added two foreign-based ex-Bulls players - Rallepele and Kirchner - to the squad going to Australasia, that being the only changes to the squad.. I could not believe what I read in the article - has the man gone completely bonkers in his selections. Now I know we are doomed and the tests in Brisbane and Eden Park would have disastrous outcomes. Hell this is not only unbelievable - it is a f#cking outrage. This man should be fired - he cannot be sane!!!

I can well understand your outrage ,NZ has had to pass on a few good players for not staying at home .

But in return we get players who are coached in the S15 by guys who are grooming them for the ABS current style of play and the ABs coach can liase and keep up to date on players form and fitness himself .

Plus we are'nt at the mercy of European clubs .

More than a fair trade .

Mike, the Boks lead the Tri-Nations table! Who would you have picked and why not these two? What game plan do you think Meyer is trying to play in picking these two?

Thought it was a blessing that he hadn't selected Woolli Bulli .....and said as much yesterday....now look what he's done. It also means that if Spies was healthy he would have selected him as well....I'm done with the Dikhead!

Absolutely unbelievable. We have the two best hookers in the world so add another one whom is based overseas and an ex player of yours at the bulls.

Kirshner is probably the worst fullback in the S15 and has not an inch of atacking threat. Ex bulls overseas player.

Meyer must go ! Meyer MUST go ! Meyer must GO ! F##king idiot destroying SA Rugby.

Put it this way, Mike ... the sooner he shows himself up as a complete moron to those in charge ... the sooner the idiot will be gotten rid of. He has no excuses this time round. There's a LOT of talent available ... he just refuses to select properly ... everything has to be all about the Bulls.

I didn't expect anything else from Meyer other than possibly adding the injured HouGat to his squad.

I am really hoping the Boks get humiliated down under.

It is fools like this that stop me from purchasing a Bok jersey.

blobbok May be the case - but he could have done better then - Aplon would have been a better choice than the thick dunderhead - Kirchner - and he could have left out the useless Steenkamp and rather pick Nyakane. The man remains an imbecile and there is no excuse for his behaviour - what a bloolly dick head - as Denny said.

Maybe Meyer's just a fan of Sam, The Sham and The Pharoah's? Nope I have to say he's allegiance to the Wooly Bully is inexplicable. I can say with a clear conscience I have never supported this player....apart from being thick he must be the worst tackler in Springbok fullback history. Nor have I ever thought much of Chilli. The only thing that rankles a bit is many of those now dumping on the coach, have actually been fans of these two guys. They are the same players they always were.

Hawka the oaks are in meltdown mode. For months they have been trashing fine players like Morne and Jean etc and  they have come to believe their own spin and  delusions.

Mike asks for my opinion but Bobbok has given the oaks here the answer. Quotas. If anyone thinks Meyer is not under pressure re Quotas they are naive in the extreme. However I do know snapster rated Chilli Boy highly and Kirchner is not as bad as some make out.

In all my years of posting on rugby boards I  have not come accross such hysterical and shameful behaviour by Bok fans - there are some exceptions.

Huge egg awaits these jelly babies. Oh that one could strengthen their wobbly knees as they tremble at playing the Oz and wee abs.  How former Bok fans are turning in their graves!  How one hopes no Bok fans will be visiting here till this tramatic time passes and hte oaks recover their nerve.

Meanwhile the ab fans here together with rooitwit are laughing thier heads off.

A dark day in the history of SA Rugby.com.

Who will join me in the light. Let we who are stable, strong and of a sound mind do what we can to assist the lost and trembling wailing away in the most pitful way. Rugganutter has lost it completely and ou maaike somedays ago together with wee cc.

Some oaks have been at Meyer from about the word go. Given his current 16% loss record with only I match a loss if it hadnt been for bad goal kicking one wonders at this extreme reaction. I say again the oaks have believed their wn propganda. ou maaaikie has repeated his fables so often it was inevitable. Bwahahahahahahhahaha

Hakwa I have folk coming around tonight so cant nurse the oaks. You are a kindly fellow and have a lot of pictures (Some unsavoury one as well). Could you bring up a few of us winning the world cups and psot them here etc. Something to steady the guys. Just win , you are also a good guy, even ou saSUE - maybe you two could lend a hand to Hakwa. See what you can do to nurse these guys back to some sort of emotional stablility.

I see that villain waped dud is egging them on. He is probably posting these wails and laments on kiwi message boards!

Please oaks just listen to our Thomas would ya.

Beeno Lets ;eave your dreams aside and see what happens next Saturday - we will then see what is the case - whether we are correct or whether you are. For the well-being of Meyer I hope you are - but I cannot see how that can be and I remain of the opinion that the Springboks will lose the match. No amount of excuses would help - since we would all know the real reason. The wider the margin of the loss is - the worse the disgrace will be..

A little quick with the red card there mate, lol.   I was begining to believe your gripes about SA refs  - well not really. I barely had a chance to warm up & was instantly curshed.

well so much for good intentions :) I guess it's down to you to whip the Boks fans into a frenzy of support. Good luck Beano - always the dreamer. Remember it takes time to build a good team!

Beeno Get real - we have no complaints about the so-called quota system - what is really wrong is Meyer's persistence with half-baked and mostly poor ex-bulls players stationed in France - virtually of them Whites. What makes it necessary to bring in a fat and useless mampara like Steenkampp into the squad. Morne is one-dimensional - with only one attribute - he can kick at goal. For the rest his game is average to poor. Vermaak is nothing special and Kruger is a joke in bad taste. Then we have to put up with the rest of his donkeys as well. The useless defenders Kirchner and Basson (because they are good under high balls but fluff everything else - even the high balls) are both utterly f#cking useless. Add to that Flip-flop and the fat, slow and useless Alberts (the mighty ball-carrier that never carries balls) - as well and we have a hotchpotch of utterly useless players who are supposed to be turned into a team. If that lot can beat Australia - the rugby situation in Australia must be in tatters - but I am sure they use players - and not the rubbish we do - so a win by them is on the cards. I expect the Aussies will beat us by 20+ points and the AB's by 30+ points. In such an event Meyer should do the honourable thing and take a plane from Auckland to Paris and submit his resignation by e-mail.

Mike i have to disagree with you for the first time. Meyer should not submit his resignation by email from Paris. He should get the Bulls to prepare a statement that can announce his resignation immediately after the 40 point thrashing by the AB's. There is still daylight hours in SA after that.

It should read. 'It is with great regret that our Springbok Overseas Bulls Coach, Heineken Meyer, has kindly requested before the thrashing by the All Blacks to be relieved of any further embarrasment in the eyes of all Bulls fans. With immediate effect we have granted him a leave of absence from the role of Springbok Overseas Bulls Coach. We wish him the best of luck in the role of developing talent in France for the SARU for which he has demonstrated with outstanding conviction. We believe that SARU will have noticed the bias towards Bulls players will not come to an end but with Heinekens new role in France the door is still open'.
