It's half time and it's Wales 9, England 3.

What a fantastic game of rugby! I don't want to get ahead of myself - it's only half time - but let me just say that that was one of the best "tryless halves" of rugby I've ever seen!

I know there are many Antipodeans who love to slag off Northern Hemisphere rugby but show me a half of rugby played in the Southern Hemisphere in the last few years that had the passion, the intensity and the commitment we've seen in the Wales vs England game this evening. I've had goosebumps pretty much ever since the anthems were sung and there hasn't been a S15 game thus far that even comes close to this. This is real rugby! It's even being extremely well policed by my least favourite referee!

Come on Wales!

I'll post more after the game but before the squealing crybabies have a fit, let me add well done to the Brumbies. No excuses from me, the Sharks were ambushed in that first half and by the time they got their shit together in the second half, it was way too late. Congrats to the Brumbies (and to Joke White!).

Come on Wales!

oh do fuck off you threadjacking gimp Baboon ou.

Stoked Wales smoked England, Owen Farrell shown up for the one dimensional flyhalf he his.  This result throws  the cat among the pigeons for Lions selections, up to this weekend I would've suggested it would be dominated by England players, not so sure now.

Agree with above post of Rooinek (then we have always supported Wales) a good first half and a fantastic 2nd half for Wales. England had no answer, they were totally outplayed, in the end the tries were what counted and Wales got them. A good day for me what with the Brumbies convincing win and then Wales only needing the 8 points and winning in the manner they did. I must also say congrats to Italy beat my 1st team well.

Poi-e, this result does indeed throw some of the Lions selections wide open.

Dan Biggar staked a big claim today as did Sam Warburton, Justin Tipuric and Alex Cuthbert.

Whoever they select, I will be supporting the British Lions with no small degree of passion! Come on the Lions!
