This was a disaster and why did it happen?

I am not happy at all as to the performances of players today.   The following are party to the disaster and we have to see what can be done iro them:-

Pollard              2,5

Faf                     2,5

Vermeulen         2

Mostert              3

Eizebeth              4

There is something drastically wrong with Pollard this year.   His goalkicking deteriorated  - his attacking the gain line vanshed from sight  and his defense turned into a problem area.   He has the abilities - but something has gone wrong. 

Faf;s boxkicking game became poorer and pressure on recipiet vanished as a result.   He has a tendency to give away penalties and that was repeated today.

Vermeulen diod near to nothing in the first test and nothing at all in the second  test - it seems as if returement would be imminent

Mostert is the wirst 7 the Springboks had in years and todays  perormance confrrm that serious deficiency.    He is a lability in the Springbok team. .       

Poor coaching and poor selections. Put the ball in the hands of a stupid loser and you get bad returns. It's that simple. Pollard was outclassed yet again, Willie was patchy, and the centres were obliterated. Our wings were almost spectators, and when they did get the ball, we were drifting so laterally that we were squashed into the touchline. Our wide game is so bad that it's actually better if we literally just kick off of every possession. 

"Poor coaching and poor selections" ... that sums it perfectly.

It really is as simple as that.

Throw in poor leadership and even worse play from Quota Kolisi and you have your answer.

Fix these three simple issues and everything changes.

It happened because basically we have been at about the Welsh level….made to look good by playing NH teams and finally exposed by some penetrating runners. Once the defence was compromised we had nothing.

Al so exposed the fools on this Board who couldn’t see it.

We are better than we played today, nobody stood out...this is uncharacteristic, something else is wrong...it's a mental thing.

This performance was laboured. The team strained to be more, but couldn't deliver. The Wallabies were vastly more physical, shunting and stalling the maul numerous times and running all over the supposed macho men from SA. Once we are physically matched, we have nothing. Penalties, kicks and lineouts were our only option and kept us in the game for a while. It was hideous. 

They were just beaten by the better side.

When the Springboks decided to run with the ball they looked - Well Pretty Pathetic really.
