He is a great loss as he was up there with Bissie and Strauss when fit and on form. Very mobile big abrasive hooker in the best traditions of Bok rugby. Injury dealt cruellly with him and hence his limited Bok career.
We wish you well Tiaan and thanks for some wonderful performances.

Cape Town - Springbok and Western Province hooker Tiaan Liebenberg has called time on his rugby career.
The 32-year-old has struggled with back injuries in the last while and has decided to call it a day. He will move back to Bloemfontein to join a family business.
Liebenberg, who played five Tests for the Springboks in 2012, joined WP from Griquas in 2006.
He says he has no regrets about his career and thanked the people involved who helped him achieve his milestones.
"I owe praise to so many people for the impact they made on my career: Allister Coetzee, Matt Proudfoot, Robbie Fleck, Steph du Toit, Greg Hechter, Rassie Erasmus, André Markgraaff, Johan van Wyk, Jacques Nienaber, Gert Smal and Rob Wagner,” Liebenberg told Die Burger.
He also praised the mentorship of his agent, Hilton Houghton, and lauded Smal and Wagner for having the patience to keep backing him despite many injury problems.
