This coaching team has not delivered the goods. They have been consistently regressing this team and we are paying the price for their incompetence. And for the José apologists who have, as I predicted, used Krutch as a scapegoat... José being in Australia would have made no difference. He was still part of the preparation and Krutch still did the donkey work on the training field. This was the same old Bok side that has been a tragedy to watch all season. The jig is up.
Players to shed:
Willemse, Nkosi, Steph, Damian, Herschell, Faf, Thomas, Kolisi, Lood, Orie, Malherbe.
Time To Stop Pretending
Yes agreed.
Now ... after you've rid the Goats of these incompetent souls (I have a few more on my list) ... who do you replace them with??
Watch Damian blow a 3 on 1 overlap at minute 29:30 with a terrible long pass to Am, allowing an easy spot tackle for the single defender who had to cover three m en. All momentum blown. The man's complete lack of rugby nous in a nutshell.
And then look at minute 66:50 as Kerevi slips a miracle offload out of a double tackle by Kolisi and Etzebeth, releasing Samu to set up the last Aussie try. Light years between the skill sets. It's not even a contest.
Welcome M.
The Heading for this post says it ALL.
I wonder how the next two tests will be. I think we can still grab one, and that is usually enough for the plastiks to beat their chests again.
As I said earlier in the week with my thread Nienaabar is not a head coach. Great defensive coach but not a head coach.
I'm also starting to question the value of Stick. Good mascot, knows what to chirp to the press but I don't really see our back line do anything special.
None of our backs or forwards were comfortable drawing a player or offloading.
Then you have the big Aussie prop straighten the line and do a no look pass to allow his winger to run down the touch line with 35 metres.
Rassie need to shake this squad up and start playing more rather that rely on Faf or Willie as our only plat makers.
Never seen a bok backline play so poor. Maybe under Coetzee.
Coetzee's Boks out-produced José's Boks in every statistical category. It's quite emphatic. The Boks have become José's blunt and dumb Stompies side of the past. Down to a 't'. The Boks haven't had a head coach for a while now. José is a narcissistic pencil pusher devoid of ideas and no analytical skills and Krutch is the man who puts the technical things in place, actually coaching. José has been living like a leech off of the work of Krutch. Time to get rid of this weird setup; Woodward is right in everything he has said about this duo.
Ummm ... the Springboks have been dead for years ...
the team that got thrashed by the Ozzies today are known by another name
Zuma's Goats.
Please refer to these pretenders as such.
I don't think the Springboks will grab one at all.
Sad to say it - but I t hink that even with South Africa playing well - NZ will win
