Total Rankers

I see of the top 10 participants in the competition - 6 chose England to beat NZ and of those 6 - two tips Wales to win the game against SA.

It seems as if the problem is that in Total Rankers the Wales as a higher rated team in the world rugby rankings - no 2 - is rated in Total rankers as no 4.   Hope that is corrected - so it would be possible to pick up 8 points in the comp if the Springboks beats Wales.  

Rooinek is still the leader in the comp and on e can only hope to get into something in the Final next week.    

Mike, I missed an entire week because Ed never sent me the startup up email on time. Despite me asking numerous times over days and days.

Then I got hit by the Tsunami when I predicted Eng to beat France. Which they obviously would have.

That's 9 + 2  missed points = 11

The only one I got wrong thus far was Ireland vs Abs.

31 + (today's England win 3) + (2 point lost through typhoon) (9 lost because of Ed's incompetence) = 45

The 9 point loss was in the early competition, during mismatch group stages. All easy picks that week. I didn't get any others wrong during group stage.

Sucks.

It's just a mere game that's all... Plum for some strange reason my round 2 went awol???

Also strange is superbru...cannot sub players on bench with the redundant ones, ie Arg players which went out the door ages ago.

Yeah, I guess it's just idle & fickle fun, that's all. It amazes why some that it so seriously.

Anyway got England and Wales to win...took a few long shots initially with Georgia who never performed and wanted Japan against Ireland but used up previously.

 I looked for it. Even now, when I run a search through the account, I can see all Ruckers mail, including mail from years back, but not the ones in question. Even spam downright auto-deleted on my account.

As I said at the time, it wasn't in the spam am box. Go read the comp thread for reference.

In saying that, surely you knew that the semi finals were being played this weekend?

A) I'm not talking about semis and B) my picks for the semis were made and are up.

Anyway, no big deal. I just mention cos I realised I've only got one pick wrong so far yet am languishing in the middle with the peasants and other uncouth types.

Good idea for the competition anyway. We all appreciate it. And well executed, aside whatever happened with my sign-up...obviously.

Tell you what, gimmi e the 9 points and we call it even
