Ah the racist card....soccer is the sport supported by most people. But SA doesn't rate as a soccer nation, nor does NZ and to a lesser extent Oz.  So when I'm comparing Oz, NZ and SA am I going to do so based on a sport at which they all suck? Why would I do that, unless like you I see the Verkramptes under every rock. Stupid logic.

Fair point on the Olympics, but I don't really think they are as relevant as  the three sports mentioned as a competitive arena  for the TN. One could question golf, I suppose.....but exclude golf and we still win. And when Schwartzel won his first Masters.....the fourth for a South African......two Aussies, Jason Day and Adam Scott were the bridesmaids trying to win the first Aussie Masters.

Nope, we have had a great deal of NZ crowing on this site, up until last weekend anyway. I'm just trying to broaden the perspective a bit.

I would've thought there'd be a straw shortage in SA, what with Beeno cornering the World market in 2012 and putting an early bid in for 2013!

It' a Rugby forum so we should rank the top 3 teams in these categories.

 Mens Team, Womens Team, Mens Sevens Team, Womens Sevens Team and Juniors.

New Zealand are in the top 2 in all of these not sure about South Africa it's hard to find the posistion

of some of the lower ranked teams in some of these.

You could also throw in Rugby League as it's very similar.

u might want to check the rugby again, australia finished 2nd, Boks finished 3rd. both OZ and SA finished on 12 championship points, but australias 3 wins is ranked higher then SA 2 wins and a draw.

if there is any form or racism is the racism towards white players in soccer so that is why most whites do not support soccer due to the rampant racism in the sport. the previous bafana coach earned 200+k more than gorden does now so if that is not blatant racism then i do not know what is.

why would any normal thinking person ever want to support a sport that is under peforming and exclusive of certain races. on moz' views we are in those relevant sports among the best. on the olympics side of things to be fair olympics and sascoc in south africa is corrupt to the core.

Well Sasu you might want to check the World Rankings in rugby.....I think you will find we occupy the slot above Oz..  Stormer 77 you should see your GP and ask him  to give you a humour test....but I was fascinated by somebody being "blind eye" arrogant as opposed to "blind eyed". 2)SA (ranked 84 in the world)

3) NZ ( ranked 93 in the world).

I can't imagine why that would be a source of pride to any nation or say anything about the pecking order in TN sport.....but I live to give.
