I can't really say I liked either games. I don't know how Hannekom got man of the match, he made so many knock ons.
Stomers pulled together on decent backline move and that was about it.
I've been saying it for some time now, they really need to get some props. I see Carlu Sadie is free at the end of the season but might end up staying at Bordauex. would be great to get him back in SA. There are some decent SA props out there. Stormers just need to move on from Kittshoff and Malherbe. Really sad to see Kittsy having to go through a neck operation. He may never play again and if he does, will be as good as before.
Flab has had a stop start season, either injured, sick or simply not stringing enough games together.
Then don't get me started don Moerat, adds absolutely not go forward ball. It is also speaks volumes if your 4 lock can't scrum. That is why Bakkies was so critical to the boks and I believe Eben helps drive that boks scrum.
As for the Frogs and Poms, entertaining towards the end. Didn't know who I wanted to win. I just don't like the French players attitude and the over hype of Dupont. Yes, he is a great scrummy and wonderful to watch but to me he is the same as Peak Aaron Smith or Will Genia, or George Gregan to name a few. Is he better than Fourie Dupreez or Joos, absolutely not.
I was really disappointed in the Scotland game. Ireland played an SA style game, just put a lot of pressure on the Scots and allowed them to make the mistakes with driving kicks with Louw and Pendecast just fining meters and grass with their kicks. Their scrum and tackling was top notch.
Didn't help that Russel and the other guy knocked each other out. Not the best conditions to compliment Scotland intend to play.
Ireland played the smarter rugby.
I was really hoping Scotland can pull on off here.
