As a Kiwi and 40 plus year All Blacks fan there is only one international team that is our true nemesis. The mighty Springboks. Prior to them coming out of the apartheid era they held a greater than 50% success rate against the ABs. It wasn't until 1996 that the ABs won their only series in SA and let's not forget that they have won 3 out of 7 World Cups that they have participated in (ABs 3/9). The point I'm making is don't plan your victory parade until after you have played them as England found out at the last World Cup Final. The utmost respect to SA rugby should be adhered to at all times.

Boks are now 4 out of 8 and kiwis 3 out of ten if ab figures above are right.

Two very tight World Cup finals against the ABs,crash tackles galore.

 They have beaten us enough in the Rugby Championship and Tri-nations.Winning here had become a routine for them. 

Still remember Eben walking onto the field to congratulate our team after beating ABs in  Wellington in 2018. Kind-of  felt that was our turning point. John Smit said it's tough beating them away... well it's become tough beating them at home too. 

And there is a lot of history to write yet.

Which currently sits in the future.

Yes it's a great rivalry. I think with Rassie the Boks will do better. But of course what happens after Rassie. Do we get another P DV etc. 

Worse than that Beeno - we can end up with another Meyer or Coetzee.    .   

Mike to me ou PDV was the worst. Although I have admit he could be very funny with some of his sayings. 

PDV reminds me of Rooitwit. Rooitwit is hilarious when he gets on his high horse and tells some unfortunate poster that he doesn't care what the poor oak thinks etc. 

Rooitwit is a great unintended comedian!!!
