I think the to strongest NH teams in the under 20 series now on the go is Wales and France.

However, here is the team of the first Round matches:-

TEAM OF THE WEEK: ROUND ONE

15. Duran Koevort (RSA)
14. Oli Andrew (WAL)
13. Ethan James (RSA)
12. Emilien Gailleton (FRA)
11. Suleiman Hartzenburg (RSA)
10. Nicolo Teneggi (ITA)
9. Nico Steyn (RSA)

1. Rhys Barratt (WAL)
2. Patrick Harrison (SCO)
3. Eliott Yemsi (FRA)
4. Plata Galdava (GEO)

5. Lewis Chessum (ENG)

6. Ethan Fackrell (WAL)
7. Emeka Ilione (ENG)

8. Cameron Hanekom (RSA).

The selection of the English lock is a mystery since their line-outs were a disaster.    I slaos do not think the SA centers were good enough in defense and that is a problem as well.

Ethan James at 13 ahead of the French captain at 13 is the biggest selection insult I’ve literally ever seen The guy carved the Irish side up scoring 3 tries, two of which were disallowed thanks to forward passes The French 12 and 13 were brilliant

Not great centre stocks for SA, all hot steppers in the mould of AD Jacobs but no big centers to provide added physicality

Very average centres and nothing special out wide There have to be far better centres about Ethan James at 13 is a joke the guy must weigh 80kg Their defence in the backs was poor hardly surprising given the size of the players

Watching the youngsters play is rough guide line and not set in stone but it is the only way one can

reasonably predetermine the future of future national teams. A typical example was the French under 20 's a few years back...we now see the results and a new French strength. However it's contagious and we now see it again. That's how important juniors are. I saw this years back in young NZ players.

And that is exactly why it is important should be prioritised in schools rugby. What you sow into the right soil with the correct fertilization will always yield a good crop.
