Under 20 match Against Japan

The SA Under 20 team in the first half tied to emulate the pathetic Meyer team last year in the game between SA and Japan in the World Cup.  They were pathetic and at halftime another Japan win looked likely.  However, in the second half they started to play more comprehensive rugby and scored 5 tries to win convincingly.   At least they did not disgrace SA like Meyer's  team did.       

 The second half was a much better affair - those Bokkies will need to be much sharper on the soft-skills if they plan to win any of the bigger teams like England, Australia or New Zealand.  But first they need to win their pool...
Mike, Meyer is now water under the bridge and a new era has arrived.  AC presents the likes of you with new targets.  

First  half had me thinking this Baby Bok side was a joke but they redeemed themselves in a big way. Hall is one hell of a 9 in terms of service...what a pass he has on him both ways giving his 10 room to move.
Davids at 6 looks good. The starting props were crap replacements far better. Wiese the flank playing lock is good but should be playing 7. 
Libbok at 10 looks creative as does Bosch at 15. Did not like the crash ball tactics employed by the 12 s used. Move on Theron.
Dash the one wing looks a real talent great steps off both feet.
The test will come in their next two games against the Argies and France 

 There were a few bad eggs in the team - to name them S’busiso Nkosi, Junior Pokomela and Kwenzo Blose -  obviously BEE selections - with Tango Balekile not too hot either,  Nkosi was totally useless and the other three was the cause of constant ball possession losses.   The scrumming by the Juniors was poor and I think the prop and hooker listed above was the problem.

Well balanced opinion - cannot fault it. 

Dave, do you know if that Cobus Wiese lock is related to Kobus Wiese the Springbok? H e also looked pretty good with ball in hand.

Only two players to really impress me were Davids the #6 and Dash the #14.

 Rooinek - this kid is Cobus and GrootKoos is Kobus.  I know the elder Wiese and this kid may be a distant relative but Groot Koos says he is not close family.
Qui te a few good ones, they need to work on coms and cohesion though.
